Worst T? Song

#

Started by timfrichards (Deleted)

I’m sure this has been covered many times before…

Come and Die (Therapy? & Fatal), from “Judgment Night” ain’t that good.

But for the truly worst T? track, in my mind, look no further than the “must have” “Teenage Kicks/With Or Without You” 7”. “Teenage Kicks” is quite good, but “With Or Without You” isn’t.

What do you think?

Tim.

Yeah it’s been asked before but what the hell, any excuse to remark on how exceptionally shit the CC Rider cover is, heh heh. Worst original song is harder, probably Bowels of Love - just for the entirely unneccessary grossness and visuals of choking on Eros maggots. Ew, ew and thrice EW.

I think what disturbed me most was an interview in which, I think it was Andy, said they had about 20 songs left to choose from for Infernal Love and out of those songs, they selected Bowels of Love (and let’s not forget my issues with Stories) - just how bad were the other songs?!

p.s. I liked Come & Die, I loved the whole Judgement Night soundtrack, a shame the film was so shit :)

I don’t think CC Rider and With Or Without You were meant ‘serious’.
As for bad songs, I always skip Deep Sleep. It’s rather terrible.

Bowels of love?!! For me it’s one of the best T? songs ever!
I love it! It’s tense, moving, touching and I love the strings.
Rooaarrrr!

Worst songs? I guess CC Rider is one of the worst. Then there’s Hate Kill Destroy, Body Bag Girl, God Kicks. Sorry if you disagree, but I really don’t like these songs!

What is everyone’s problem with Body Bag Girl? It’s got a nice hook and some cool lyrics, even if it’s not that good a track compared to the rest of the album it’s still fairly cool.

Up until yesterday, i would’ve said my least favourite track is Infernal Love, but i was listening to it today in the car and i like it a lot more now than i used to. Damn, now i have to pick a new ‘least favourite’ track…

Insidentally, i’m glad no-one on this thread has mentioned Dance, or i would have had to get out my beatings stick.

Got to agree with Blonde Babe, Body bag girl is an ok song, seems like every1 is jumping on the band waggon and caning a ok song.

My least favourite would have to be Fat Camp, that song is dirt man.

Actually, many of us have never liked the song, so we’re not just repeating each other’s opinion. It’s probably my least favourite song on Shameless, although some songs are (way) worse.

It’s not about “jumping on the band waggon”, it’s expressing my own opinion: if someone else loves Body Bag Girl, that’s great. But I think it sucks big time.

I quite like Body Bag Girl, mind you reading the other thread (Best/Worst T? songs) I’ve found that I disagree with many people on certain songs, but what else is new?

i honestly can’t see how some of you hate the song bowels of love. personally though, i liked every song on infernal love except the song infernal love…and to be honest i didn’t like stories much although it’s an ok song. i liked all the songs from troublegum and nurse,…yes that includes hypermania which everyone here pretty much thrashed in other threads..i don’t know why. it’s a great song. i hated the whole shameless album and suicide pact album except for the songs sister and six mile water. i grew to like all semi detached except tramline (a song that starts good but pretty much goes nowhere).. i also liked the whole pleasure death and baby teeth albums

If I don’t like a song it never means that it’s a bad song,
At ones it can turn out in a song I really like.
This doessn’t count for CC rider and With or Without you.

I haven’t really listened good enough to Shameless yet to give my opinion - but I bet there are songs on it that I don’t really like, as far as I heard them.

well, i came from the cinema where i’ve seen blair witch project stoned (the only way this movie is good), and i listened to sp-yf while i tried to fall asleep. totaly forgot the hidden track. and sudendly there was this child laughter. anyone who knows this movie knows why it scared me.
so, what do we learn? drugs, scary movies and weird hidden tracks shouldn’t be mixed on one evening :-)

musically it’s alright, but the lyrics, and the way it’s sung, … I just don’t like it. The fist times I heard ‘I am the money’ I thought the same thing, but after listening to it for a few times, I liked it, but Stalk & Slash, … no, I listened to it many times now, and I still don’t like it, so I guess I’ll never like it!
