More a case of chronic insomnia but I think Flea Circus is a most worthwhile pursuit. Go on, try it. It’s a Tony Blair Dare…

I shall. Just been tipped off by a mate that it’s possible to win at Connect 4 every time, if you’re the player going first!

I expect a flea circus tip in return ;-)

Alright, that was weird. On Jagex, has anyone else clicked on the heading at the side labelled ‘Bottomless Pit’? It’s really weird! It’s not a game, just a big bottomless pit. It made my eyes hurt.

lol - it reminds me of the underwater tunnels in Tomb Raider. I think the sound is really clever on it too.

Sam - saying “it’s possible to win Connect 4” does not constitute a tip! I shall, however, say this of Flea Circus - you don’t neccessarily have to use all the buttons / blocks etc that it provides you with, there are many red herrings that should be ignored.

Hmm. How about giving us a level code list? That’d be a lot more helpful! :D (I’m one of those annoying people who are crap at games and never play them unless i can win all the time… it’s pretty sad really!)

I do have a list of all the passwords but I think you’ll regret it if I tell you, you won’t have the satisfaction! It’s like when I was playing Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, I got completely stuck and asked my mum (who completed it unaided, bint) - whilst I probably would never have figured out how to do it myself it was a hollow victory. That sounds even more cheezy than it did in my head, lol

Anyway, I shall email you the passwords if you REALLY want them ;)

There’s a game about the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. The TV series. Oh yes. How can I get this game? What format is it? So many questions etc. *drools*

I must sound a bit dense, but I just don’t know.
Nothing to do with a Playstation 2 I suppose.

OMIGOD! I remember Hitchhiker’s Guide! I got horribly stuck in an airlock (or a vacuum, something like that), and by the time i found out what i was meant to do i couldn’t be bothered any more! Anyone here played Zork? Now that was a class game. Cheated my whole way through the first three! (Actually, Zork Nemesis is one of the few games i’ve actually completed on my own…)

Hoochalobster - yes please codes! I have no moral objection to finishing a game with other people’s aid! My email is rachel.keig@nobles.dhss.gov.im - ta!

Basically it means just a black screen with writing - you type in written commands as to what you want to do in the game and the computer responds.

It takes a while to figure out how to phrase things the right way but it is the best game when you do - I think my all time favouite command was “enjoy mud”, which I did ;)

Anyway, everybody should go to http://www.brothercake.com/games/countdown.php I cannot possibly begin to describe my joy…

I haven’t played Zork BB, sounds cool…those codes are on their way :)

A bit like the computer version of those books where you either go to page 47 or page 226 etc when you come to a “fork” in the plot or whatever. I should have sussed.
Hmmm…

I’ll have loads of that “spare time” soon.
My 100th post is to say that I’ve lost my job of 17 years.
Boo hoo.
Big redundancy payout. Hurrah.

So one minute you’re plugging corpses and the next you’re playing Flea Circus and the like? That’s hard ;)

And on the subject of waiting, Tomb Raider’s release has been put back from next month to February. Bugger.

??!!?? How can you not love Tomb Raider?! Best game ever made (and I’m not just saying that because it’s the only game I’ve ever been good at. Okay I am.)

What other games did Core do?
