teethgrinder, please help:

are the server problems solved now?
i tried to enter the download-page cause i couldn’t finish downloading all the stuff yesterday and i got this error-message:

This is an invalid download link. Your IP has been logged.
If you think you’ve got this message due to some error, please contact download support at info@e-junkie.com.

well, i then sent and e-mail to this adress but i again got a error-message saying that my mail got rejected because of some SPF-extension-whatever-problem …

should i just wait for the link to work again or is my link now fucked?

:(

I’ve sent two e-mails to them asking what’s going on and when it will be fixed, but have not yet received a reply. I’ll keep you posted, and apologise for the less than smooth way things are running right now :(

If all goes good (and we recoup the costs) we plan to make this a regular occurrence where we pick a ‘theme’, you vote and we record an exclusive set. As regards ‘re-couping’ costs I should clarify that the whole project has been self-financed and we’d like to see this becoming a self-sufficient venture. A consequence of this would be that I’d ask everyone who buys the audio/video not to spread it all over the internet for free download.

Do we know how much it all cost ?

Gonna try again in case it my dvd converter…Whats everyone else using?

Me I’m using dvdsanta…

Use ‘WinAVi’ if you can get a copy (or hack version) of it, it batches the wmv files together for dvd format, then you can use it to go through Nero to burn it onto a disk. I find this is the quickest way of converting any video file to be burnt to disk… hope that helps?
I however took my time this time round and used ‘Powerproducer’ and made a fancy title screen and menu screen etc etc - just to make it look all nice :)

Thank you for the info.

I do hope that the “download clicks” will be reseted when the songs are back online, because I tried to download Screamager twice allready, before I knew that the page was broken .

Well hopefully it will be fixed soon, then we can all enjoy the Webgig.

got all the clips and mp3s yesterday night and i can say that all the clips work perfectly.

i played videos first in Windows Media Player version 10 but then i noticed that i can actually open the full screen, edge to edge in BSPlayer. WinMedia opens them full screen but for some reason the picture is not streched all the way to screen edges.

got no service pack 2 on my laptop, since this dummy requires some additional drivers for that but shitty hewlett packard site cannot explain me which fucking drivers i need. anyways, no sp2 is nessesary, as i can see.

some errors in playing of clips and mp3s may occure due to transmission losses, i guess. shit like that happens all the time. the only way to solve that problem is downloading the corrupted stuff again.

@whoever forgot to give their name… email the address on the webgig page and we should be able to sort that out for you :)

Apologies again for anyone having difficulties with the downloading.

It was the first DVD I have ever burned in my life and it was as easy as piss.

Now what is all the fuss about ;)

Looks and sounds excellent blasting out of my surround sound system :D

All in all Fucking Brilliant!

OMG OMG OMG

First Hi all. Therapy fan from the USA here.

Second, I’m so glad that the band decided to do this web gig thing. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait to see it.

And Third, looks like the d/l links don’t work I’m getting 0 byte mp3 files. This is torture!!!! Arghhhh!!!!

And fourth I hope that the technical difficulties are load related and that it really means that a massive amount of raving T? fans crushed the server with demand for new T? digital audio and video, thusly , possibly self funded is a reality? maybe?

Anyone tried the videos on linux yet? I’m assuming/hoping mplayer or vlc will be able to handle it, otherwise I just bought a big bunch of nothing.

Hope the stuff is fixed soon.

It’s just gone midnight here in Canada and I paid for both the video and the audio and I am getting the same problem…0MB size files are downloaded.

Now my question is, I can wait and try downloading later but if I exceed my 3 download limit trying to get a good download and still get 0 size MP3’s…am I going to lose my money?
I mean a download may be considered a download whether it be a full size MP3 or a 0 size MP3.

Can anyone help me out here? Considering the Canadian dollar is worth nothing and it cost me over $35 Canadian to buy both…I am a tad worried.

Thanks!

Hi folks, I’ve just posted an update on the webgig situation:

http://www.therapyquestionmark.co.uk/webgig/

It’s mentioned on the above page, but I want to make it absolutely clear: If you cannot download the files after everything has been fixed, get in touch with me and I will reactivate your download links.

Anyone who bought the webgig will get the files they paid for, if it’s the last thing I do. You just need to bear with me in terms of reply time, as I’m getting absolutely swamped with e-mail at the moment.

I just answered my own question. Yes, if you attempt to download more than 3 times and get 0MB files each time…that counts as your 3 downloads.

Now the question is to anyone who is in charge…will this problem be fixed for us who tried and got bum files all 3 times? Meaning, will we be able to get these tracks and not have to pay again?

I understand there have been problems and I’m not trying to stir shit up but $35 for 4 tracks out of 24 (Audio and Video)…I’m a little concerned to put it mildly.

Thanks

It’s nigh impossible to find T? stuff is shops here in South Africa, so events like this are really cool.

The audio tracks are crisp and clear… And extremely crankable in my car :D.

Now if only the server would resurrect itself so that I may get the rest of the video. I need a visual fix!

I quite like the idea of a set based on the next twelve songs that would be a nice mix… also the idea of a vote on songs off the first three years of Therapy? would be cool.

Yeah, next 12 songs from the vote would be cool.

Or how about a vote from the last 3 albums? 12 tracks from the “Cooper” albums would give us a nice live representation of what they’ve done more recently, ie. no pesky Troublegum tracks out-staying their welcome! :)

I’m starting to doubt myself a bit, whether i put my name in the correct place. If you pay with credit card and put your full name with the credit card information, that is enough? Or did I have to write it somewhere else as well?

Teethgrinder (René Fennema) Administrator wrote:

That is enough. You only need to enter something in the “Message to Seller” box if either the name on the PayPal account or credit card used is different, or if you’re ordering it as a gift for a friend.

If the name on the PayPal account or credit card is the one you want the cover signed to, you don’t need to enter anything in addition.

I was thinking that Alan also, as all the tracks are not ones the Neil has been on originally. Still made up with the webgig though. I would still have liked the option to vote for Gimme a man after midnight.
The next thing to do, could possibly be a livestreaming gig from Micheal’s living room or something like that

Thanks for letting me know about the cover Hooch.

I’ve got a suggestion for (any future) webgigs. My interweb connection at home isn’t the greatest, and being limited to downloading two files at once was a tad frustrating, I had to keep half an eye on the file downloads.

Is there any way that a single (zip) file of all the tracks could be made available so I can just say “download” and away it goes?

Other than that and the fact that the e-junkie site fell over it seems to have worked well, thanks! now to sort out my codec issues (I’m sure the boys didn’t film in green) on the three videos I was able to download before it went tits up.

Hello good citizens of the Wall Of Mouths,
Just been monitoring the way the webgig download scenario has been going and wanted to let you know everything is being done our end to get it back up to speed. When i say ‘we’ i actually mean ‘Rene’ as the dude is busting his nuts to fix this all. Thankfully progress is being made so i would ask everyone to take it easy and Rene will work his magic asap.

It’s early days but myself and Andy and Neil are delighted with the response to the songs/video so far. Thanks for all your support and all feedback is appreciated so future(?) efforts can be tweaked.

Oh, and to second Rene, i guarantee anyone who has paid will get the relevant audio/video as soon as it is possible.

Thanks for your patience…
