I kinda thought the first few days would be chaos, what with all the interest. Doesn’t seem to be anything that can’t be fixed tho. Looking forward to getting mine as soon as i get the time.
Cheers for the update Mikehell!!!

Some files are indeed available now, but not all of them are there yet. There are also still some transactions missing, which means that for some people their download links won’t work yet.

I’ll be back later with more info.

Modern technology, like downloading individual tracks, even splitting it up into audio and video had this problem written all over it.

Call me old fashioned, but give me a CD anyday, you go and buy it and it’s yours.

Technophobe? Im afraid so.

While I agree a CD has its advantages, the fact that the webgig is split up into several files had absolutely nothing to do with the problems of the last two days.

Rene or Sarah,

I want to make Teethgrinder from the webgig my video on Bebo.
Although, I just want to check with you guys first.
If allowed, it’ll be uploaded via Videoegg (not YouTube) and I’ll give a link to the webgig download page (if allowed).

Cheers,

Colinx

After fretting overnight, alas my files are downloading nicely and having listened to the audio and viewed some of the video…I am just over the moon thrilled!!!

Thanks Teethgrinder for busting your ass fixing the problems.

I hope this does well as I would pay for ANY other webgig the band decides to do!

Thanks again!

Colin, while I appreciate the fact that you want to promote the webgig, it’s not allowed to use the full Teethgrinder video on a public website. The webgig is copyrighted and for your private use only.

I’d like to suggest using the promo we have up on YouTube and MySpaceinstead.

@Colin - No! As in the guidelines, we do not condone the distribution of T? stuff (in any capacity) if it is still available to buy. This has only been out 2 days!

Everyone, please do not put these vids/audio out there on the internet. The only way we are gonna see this happen again is if it’s financially viable and the only way to make it financially viable is if people buy it.

@All the newbies who have appeared since Monday… welcome by the way!!

Anyways, how many of these full packages have to be downloaded for T? to recoup the costs?

I have a few mates that are buying it within the next couple of weeks. :)

Title: The DVD of the Web Gig (merged)

I’ve created the DVD fairly easily with some software all ready on my computer called Sonic MyDVD, but when I play the DVD on my home cinema there is a delay between the visuals and the audio of about a second. The dubbing is completely out and actually seems to get worse.

Anyone know how to combat this because it essentially makes it impossible to watch and that sucks.

The person who solves this programme gets a bag of Haribo of their choice!

I suppose it is worth trying again, but it would be another wasted DVD if it doesn’t work.

Isn’t it fairly likely that I would get the same result from the same software though?

Well,

I used a software that came with my laptop called InterVideo WinDVD Creator and it worked no problem at all.

This software is now 3 years old. I guess it might be worth you giving it another shot - do you have all of the settings correct e.g. Disc type, Writing speed etc.?

Hope you get it sorted, is worth it.

Guys, I really love the Webgig.

Love the fact that the links are working again :D.

Now I will start convincing friends that they to have to buy the megabytes.

Only crappy thing: my cd player will not play copies cd’s, because of this I have bought around 650 original cd’s :P.

I will need to get a new stereo for the album :)

Title: T? fans without paypal or credit cards

Paypal being the lousy anglo american system it is won’t allow me to use their services with my Belgian bank check account. Or maybe I’m a cunt and don’t klnow which buttons to push. I won’t be able to get a credit card soon cause I don’t have a steady income and a huge tat on my forehead that reads “never pays you back”
But how do I get this webgig thingy. I’m all too excited to be able to get as excited as the others about its supreme quality.

PayPal have a localised Belgian site, and offer all their services to Belgian customers as far as I can see. I’d suggest contacting PayPal if you have any problems opening an account or registering your bank account, as they should be able to help you better with this than I am.

I’d suggest JBL speakers, apart from the turntable, we would have the same combo.

I would also like to give a big thanks to Rene for sorting out the problems so quickly.
I found after paying that I had not received the email as my shitty domain registering company have buggered up the email forwarding. An email to Rene and all my worries about having to pay again are gone with a very nice response.

From what I’ve heard so far sounds great, although I might try downloading A moment of clarity again as the vocals seem to break up a bit.

Here’s hoping for this to be a regular thing, although I’m still looking forward to seeing them live again (any chance of a gig in Derby lads, you’re here often enough)
