Yeah, i thought that too, but then he went to the second house during the day! Much as i dislike consistence, my common-sense gland was having little hissy fits during that bit.

It’s hellaweird. I got up to the third level, but i had to stop reading because i’ve not seen the film yet n don’t want to spoil it. If anyone knows where i can get a decent pirate copy i’d love to know because it’ll never EVER be released over here on the Isle of Man.

i bought my vhs copy on amazon.com for 13 dollars. you can buy the dvd of it anywhere. donnie darko starts off slow but gets good later on in the movie. it’s one of those movies that i can actually watch over and over again. you’ll either like or hate it after watching it.

drew barrymore has the students reading a novel that gets banned… so she then gets them to read another book (about rabbits, i think)… i can’t remember the name of the book…

i remember now, next time i see it i’ll post the title. and there’s only been one movie i’ve ever turned off after watching 10 minutes…on halloween my girlfriend made me rent “elvira house on haunted hills” with her. the first elvira movie was watchable..this movie though was the worst piece of crap ever made. i’ll give 10 dollars to anyone who can watch it from start to finish. it can’t be done.

it is the worst movie i’ve ever seen. keep in mind that i thought her first movie was ok. my g\f was like you and couldn’t wait to see it..even she wanted to turn it off after a half hour. they must have been on a low budget when they made that movie..the whole movie was done on one set

Fantastic! The first movie was so bad i wanted to throw stuff at my tv (i have a bb gun for that purpose now). What i wanted to know was, if that stupid dog could shapechange into anything, why didn’t it just turn into a rhino or something and squash them all?? And since when was spiking the casarole a capital offence?? Please stop, my common-sense gland can’t take it anymore! :D

It’s like a pellet/air gun type thing. Mine’s only little and it fires tiny plastic pellets so it’s okay to fire at the TV (and annoying friends), but my dad had a really vicious one. I shot myself in the foot with it one time, although luckily i was wearing my Docs at the time… Never shot a puppy with one though… ;)
Cool, tell me what 28 Days Later is like. I seriously cannot wait to see that film! Of course it’ll be better than Signs - it has killer zombies and no Mel Gibson!

Always ahd a bit of a (heterosexual) thing about Mel Gibson, mainly due to the Mad Max films (3 doesn’t suck!), which I admit were a long time ago. Also have a thing about Danny Boyle films, although after A life less ordinary and The beach, am a little sceptical about tonight, but the film starts at 6 so will be leaving work on time for a change, which is generally A Good Thing, whatever the film’s like.
And Attack of the Clones is out on dvd on Monday as well :)

the best b-movie i know (exept from killer klowns from outer space) is captain cosmotic. a bunch of idiots from my hometown made this really crappy but funny movie, and it even was distributed by troma and put on tv. (viva2, anyone still knows it?)
one of the guys now has a tv show, an absolutly boring trigger happy tv rip off.

28 Days Later was quite good - bit scary what with Anthrax and Smallpox scares. One bit make me jump and another made me squirm, but not really frightening. Quite intelligent for a horror film and not too cheap looking for a British film, so gets my seal of approval.
