Is this allowed? Considering everyone knew they were being hung in early ‘07..?

You mean ‘prize’ I think :)

Well i did mean to put some thing in the rules about this when i first thought Saddam was going to be killed this year to stop unfair advantage (I didn’t know about these guys?)…which is the same reason for the closing date. Saying that I didn’t put anything in so I can’t really make Erik give up his points for beating the system with smart voting.

This is totally up to Erik but if he wishes to give a new top ten in the name of sportsmanship.. then he can start with a 7 point advantage. This decision is down to Erik of course:)

Also talking of Prizes..Gav have you thought of one for Ci? yet?

I thought it was said in the 2006 thread that you weren’t allowed to have these guys, but it’s not stated in the rules at the start of the 2007 thread and I can’t find the reference. This is as close as I found:

And in the spirit of competition, we should have a rule that no one can use Sadam on their lists for 07, seeing as its a certanty that he is going to kick the bucket by force.

And if we wanted to quibble we should have quibbled after he posted it instead of after they died. So well done I guess

Good call, I think it’s fair to give that choice :)

So Erik, you can take the seven points and everyone will think you’re a thoroughly decent chap, or you can keep the 19 and everyone will think you’re a cunt…the choice is entirely yours :D

Erik Schepers (Erik Schepers) wrote:

Well, most people I know already think I’m a cunt, so very little would change. ;)

But seeing as how this will save me a bit of cash by not giving away a prize (see, I’m not just a cunt, but a miserly one) I will take the 7 points.

But let this be a lesson to you - never trust a Dutchman bearing a list of people he thinks will snuff it. :p

My new list will come up shortly - just need to do a bit of research (mainly how age / popularity related).
