I got “reason” from a musician friend, he lent me the program last year. I think Reason is one of the greatest programs to sequence instrument and work in your home.
It took me a lot of time to sequence the drum but the result was good enough for me.
If someday i have some money i’ll record some songs in a cheap studio with real instruments.
Actually im working in a few more songs.
Thank for the comment mate!!

Reason is indeed cool. If you’re not up for paying the £300ish price tag, you might be able to get Reason Adapted for a bit less.
Cool version btw!

Thank therapy_gr, yeah the hardest part was the drum, it’s pretty complicated when u have to emulate someone like Neil, because he uses a lot the bassdrum with the snare so it takes sometime for the sequenced drum sounds as Neil.

I’ve got reason adapted. I guess I’ll finally have to sit down and read the damn instructions
I once sat down and tried to do the drums to Nausea on Redrum, but I didn’t have the patience.
Did you use a Midi at all? like for the Bass?

Hi FNYANKEZ, using Reason is not as hard as it looks, you need some patience and that’s all.
There’s also a good way to start sequencing songs, for example you can download a Midi song from the net and then import this file with reason and edit the drum or bass, it can let you practice a bit with the sequences.
I Used to work with Cakewalk before discovering Reason, but it’s pretty limited because you have to use Sounfonts and sometimes the cymbals sounds amazing but the snare or bassdrum sounds like shit… That’s why i prefer Reason because you can edit your own drum set.
Well im not using any midi device, just sequencing the drum and bass with the mouse and pc keyboard.
Reason also let you export your proyect as Midi, mp3 or wav format.
If you need some help using Reason just let me know.

Hey wombles,
I was working on a kind of T?-remix, as a kind of tribute or present to my
umm
OUR ;) favourite band, and now like to share it with all of you.
Concerning the remix: It is no remix of one single song. It consists of samples of about 10 or 15 T?-songs, which are put together. There is some detuning, pitchshifting, timestretching, but at least all sounds and bits are originally played by Therapy? theres nothing added!
Really like to know, what you guys (and maybe Andy, Mikehell and Neil) think of it!
Errr
. Maybe you can guess, which songs have been used
.
The link to the file is:

Well, hopefully it works…
Take care,

What did you use to record?
Yeah, myspace can be a bitch sometimes.
We used one of those cheap microphones and then recorded it on a laptop with Cooledit, I think.
I kicked the second guitarist out of the band (my ex >=[) so now I do the cool riff thingy in the chorus and sing, I feel like Andy! It took a while to combine that successfully, though.

I think Lonely, Cryin’ Only would indeed be fun to do as list filler.
We play a lot of Therapy? songs at band practice to warm up. Luckily we’re all Therapy? heads. =D
