Well, I’m having a bit of a rough time, financially and physically (just got back from the hospital after a hit and run) - the two are related. Conclusion is I have to focus on paying rent and such.. and here comes the question..
Is that special signed sleeve deal a limited offer, or can I expect the Therapites to go out of their way for some signing another season down the line? I’ve tried looking about for information regarding this, but I admit I might be too uncomfortable to be very thorough.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows anything about this.

As for the signed sleeve, it doesn’t say that it is a limited offer so I’d like to think you can get the sleeve anytime. :)

Kyle, we have not yet decided on a date when the webgig will be taken offline. All I can say now is that it will be online at least until early May. I don’t yet know how long the offer for the signed covers will last.
Sorry, no update on that information yet.

Frankly, I’m in a bad way. Among other things, my arm got some big name fracture and consequently I’m in constant discomfort and pain and all that bad stuff. It’ll be at least another month before it’ll be usable again.

A question: I’ve read a few things about it taking ages to downlaod the DVD part of the download, is this true? Are we talking hours or days? I ask because I want to download it from a friend’s computer (I’m in work now, so can’t use this computer) but rarely spend time in his house, so would only have a couple/few of hours to do so.

Err, is it just me or is the inlay card a tad rubbish?
For a start it’s CD sized, not DVD box shape which I think is a bit bizzare. Surely it’s a DVD! The personalisation appears to have not been done by the band, but by someone who read all the names off the Internet and wrote them all on the inlays before the band signed them. And the tracklisting is totally wrong on the back, all the tracks are mixed up. To be honest, it seems to be just a cheap photocopy on red paper.
Think I was expecting something a little better…

Hehe! Just got my sleeve out of the envelope a minute ago. Yep, its cd sized. To be honest I was expecting something like that, so I havent purchased any cover for my dvd yet.
It sure can be that “Hey Gleb” was written by someone else but the band member but me dont care. As long as I got my first eva goodie signed by T?!
Messed up tracklist is more funny thing than a bugger, Billy, chill out;) It complements the whole project really good:)
No dissapointment here as me realise the whole thingy is pure DIY. And it is fun, in my opinion.
Glad it all has tuned out swell. I hope there will be more coming and not audio only, as me likey it with picture.
Thanks, guys! Keep up doing your thing! I am with ya no matter what!

i think it looks fine, the whole project had a DIY-attitude so the way the sleeve is done just fits to that.

Title: sleeves
Guys,
Michael from Therapy? here, sorry you didnt like the sleeves. The thinking behind the ‘cd size’ is that most people would burn it onto a ‘cd sized CDR’…it’s meant to be a ‘download concept’, we never said it was a ‘DVD concept’ and the tracklisting is in a different order because surely each person can/could choose their own way to sequence the tracks. Does that make sense? We just wanted it to be as ‘open’ as possible and the ‘signed sleeve’ was meant to be a bit of a bonus/special fan thingy. Make any sense?
If it’s any consolation i can assure you that the band signed every sleeve personally and i hand wrote every “to…” on the sleeves then trudged to the post office and licked every stamp with my very own blistered, swollen tongue…

Sorry, just re-read my previous post and certain bits were not particularly clear…To re-iterate, the ‘webgig’ concept was meant to be neither a ‘cd’ nor ‘dvd’ in that any hard copy would exist.
This is how we wanted it to be as to remain separate from our ‘offical’ album releases(new material etc)…Hopefully we would do a series of ‘webgigs’ and each one would showcase a ‘different’ angle or theme on the bands music.
As we said before, this is our first foray into a new medium and the response has been great. And along with that we are open to any feedback as how to improve the next one(within reason…no “put some naked chicks on the next cover” please).
Anyway, please be assured that any autographed item(s) you request and recieve from the band are genuine and have been handwritten (and not by trained monkeys though that is an idea)…
Cheers,

Thanks for making it clear that my “Hey Gleb” is written by you. Small thingy that makes me happy:)
As for tracklisting, we just got the idea of numbers from you, guys. Since from the very begining you were puting ‘em in the same order.
Anyways, I’m enjoying the whole thing. These days, when technology becomes cheaper it seems like a next step to make - going multimedia and DIY. Who the hell needs production companies, when you can make things like this at your home? Reznor has recorded next NIN album on laptops in hotel rooms! Way to go!

I personally like the garage-like sytle of the sleeve, hand written serial number on the indside and all. It’s a self released thing, voted for by fans and dedicated to each fan singally, so I don’t bother it not shining like playboy’s centerfold.
And since the original order of the songs was merely based on the number of votes they got, I don’t mind the guys having changed it. Then I again, I haven’t burned it yet. Others who have might now have a CD or DVD on which the order of the songs doesn’t match with the sleeve and so have to to burn it again to get it accurate, which is a pity.
There is however one thing that I don’t like about the concept:
I think the webgig should have gotten some kind of title. When more webgigs come up, will it then be called the first webgig? The fan-favourite webgig? The red sleeved autographed webgig? (Is ‘the red album’ taken by any band?) A proper name would have bein nice IMHO.
OK, done with my my rant ;)

Does anyone know the actual filesize of the whole thing?
And if you buy the whole thing, do you still download the tracks seperately?
My connection is pretty fast, but it’s been really temperamental recently, and I’m worried that those ‘three chances to download’ aren’t going to be enough. :(
