Taunty Dan

#

Started by mrs h

I got an email this morning from Dan, as follows:

“i need to tell you, and if you could be so kind as to pass the word onto the main players, as of NOW i aint gonna be using tinternet at work, so i’ll only be using the wom at opportune moments at home. :( ”

Consider yourselves informed.

Poor Dan. They must want him to do some work. Still, at least his brain is still here! :)

Yes. He’s at work. And not at all chained up in our cellar, with an orange in his mouth. At work. Yes.

Ok. That should keep him going for a bit if he can manage to suck away the peel.

If only he hadn’t said ‘bloody northeners’… :(

It’s true - he has been getting a bit cocky, but I can’t help wondering if we didn’t over-react by giving him that perm and making him wear a track suit?

@ Marja - I have no idea - you know exactly as much as I do - If I hear any more I will let you know.

It’s genuinely (with an ‘e’), seeing as you asked - and I feel sorry for him too :(

I’d offer to correct any other spelling mistakes you make, but it would make me look like a pedantic twat, and destroy all Divers confidence! ;)

How are you anyway? Any more house pics?

edit: Actually you’d better answer that on GM, there’s a topic of sorts in this thread …

they’re working on the electricity, next week they will put in the windows, I’ll post pictures of that. We’re going to a building fair next monday, to check out things for the bathroom and laminat floors.

I’m sick and in pain at the moment. I’m dripping snot all over my keyboard. It only started this morning so I didn’t bring enough hankies. I’m in extreme pain while typing, I have tendinitis (I think it’s the same word in english as it is in dutch) in my wrist and my pointing finger. I got it from using the mouse. Doctor said I had to stay home for a week, do nothing, but since everybody is on holiday, and I’m not lifethreatingly ill, I had to come. Ah well, if it doesn’t get better in a few weeks, They will put me in a plaster for 3 weeks. Just enough time off that I need
:D

edit: sorry, saw your edit too late. I’ll go to GM to continue snot conversation

It looked like he meant that he wasn’t using the internet at all at work, rather than having his use restricted. So I guess either he didn’t get a bollocking, or he got a severe bollocking. :)

I don’t envy him* making do without it, though.

*and I never will. For anything.

Have you ever seen a fat man cry? It’s hilarious!
If John Candy had cried more in his films, he would have had Comedy awards coming out of his arse.

I couldn’t possibly stop now as I’m this close to making Dan blubber. When I have achieved that, then I will call a truce and become friends. :)

I doubt you will have to wait long as he is a big girl and would seem to cry all the time!

Right - the day is looking nice and I still haven’t been offered suitable alternative employment so I am going to spend an hour or so making the garden look pretty :)

Well he’s lucky to have an employer who allowed Dan to use for any length of time. Some of us don’t have that luxury & have to wait until we get home to get on-line. :(
