It was great man :D Was kind of gnawing away at me after I watched them that the setlist for the gig the night before might have been better… but I looked it up and would defintely take the one I went to. Nothing of The Fragile but they played five songs of Broken and about half of Spiral. Highlights were The Becoming and Reptile

*edit: the NIN hotline says they’re the Foo Fighters’ “special” guests. So there you go.*

Yeah but Therapy? were Metallica’s “Special Guest” when they played Donington 95. That doesn’t mean they Co headlined with them, they were the main support act.
Anyway it’s all wrong the Foo’s have been shit for years!

We can dress it up all we want, but FF will be on last & have a longer slot. End of.
FF headlining is more a comment on their popularity, than the quality of their music.
I wouldn’t be too surprised it there were a few Johnny Cash fans floating around the venue in a confused daze.

What’s next? Trent playing a gig without destroying a single piece of equipment? Trent starts to smile during Hurt? Trent admitting he’s suffering from substance abuse? …Oh, wait, that last one already happened didn’t it?

True.
Music history is full of stories of great bands who had to play second fiddle to bands who weren’t worthy of wiping their shoes. Just one of those things - no accounting for the popularity of some bands, is there?

& I woundn’t call it a mix up either, I mix up is when you the missus fullfat cola instead of semi-skimmed ;)
They had adverts in the papers this week, & NiN released a password for the Presale, so its no mixup. I’d money issues, as is the norm …

Probably for the best. I don’t see why foul-mouthed youths who use the “c” word should be allowed anywhere near Wolverhampton anyway.
Especially them fucking emo-cunts who gather round the “man on the horse” as if it’s gonna start dishing out free tippex for them to sniff or something.

Just off the phone to TM.
NiN haven’t 100% pulled, but MCD are just playing it safe.
The band have cancelled some UK dates recently, which are being rescheduled for the end of Aug, I presume they are seeing if they can fit them all in.
If they do pull out, TM will be in contact for a full refund.

Oh yes, them’s the twats! The kind of kids who would tell you that they dress like that because they are “an individual”…when they all wear the same.
Every so often half the pack seems to run off down the street in a big gang as if they have spotted a fight down the road. You can see them when they get htere and none of them have any idea why they were running and what they were running to, so they just kind of talk for a bit and then go back to the statue.
I guess the statue is a bit like that Touch The Truck programme - whereby if they aren’t within 6 foot of the statue they lose their emo credentials or something…
Anyhoo, you been in The Giffard Arms yet dude?
