Hmm… I didn’t see it, I stand corrected. I stand by my thoughts of the guitar tones, but I was obviously wrong as to the source. Thanks Mike!
Goes to show you how cool these guys are to read and respond!
Just hope they take the critiques (at least mine anyway) in the manner they are given..

And you know what I’m talking about… :D
Naw, not on this occassion…
I won’t hold pull my punches when it comes to my views if thats what you mean.
Don’t get me wrong, as I said I’m a Therapy? fan since
1994, I BUY the albums and downloads & go to the gigs…but if I don’t feel some of it is up to par I won’t stay stum!
Some people have actually agreed with me for once…
I would much rather buy the 1994 MTV Live session on DVD
than another web-gig! As someone said Therapy? are a live band that feed off the audience!
As I said in my original post, it’s just my personal opinion!…No offence intended!
Love,
Mr Knoxville
P.S it is nice to see the band reads the forum

Still haven’t got it, but has not been 6 weeks so I will remain patient.
Maybe my Postie is a Therapy? fan… Maybe it is Mr. Knoxville!
Anyways, all in all I like the webgig. I agree, Straight Life with one guitar is weak. It might have sounded better had Andy simply played the backing chords rather than the lead part during the chorus. And yes, knives without an audience isn’t the same.
I like the sound of the recording, with the exception of Andy’s guitar sound maybe - sounds somewhat weird and not aggressive enough.
Dancing with Manson would have to be the highlight for me - excellent version and I like the version of Teethgrinder also.
I would like it if they did it again, but maybe with some rarer tracks this time around. In a small studio with an audience would kick ass - they could even put a competition on the website for the tickets :)
Anyways Mr. Knoxville, I am also a Therapy? fan of 94 and your opinion is welcome.

Mr McKeegan, hope you’ve read that, cause I’m in agreement!
How about a webgig tour?
Where Therapy? play normal gigs, video them, and then take their favourite videos from each place and turn it into a downloadable webgig?
Just a thought… without thinking of costs..

Strictly, a webgig tour would be T? going around the country, playing your hometown, in private studios with no audience. :D

EDIT: If the number represents how many people have downloaded I am imagining that a large amount of people have downloaded and they have recouped the costs.
I mean, how much could it cost?
So, if we go by Kossu’s number [if these numbers represent the downloads] it is:
13.99 x 379 = A fair bit of cash!
Well done T?

It’s cool that Therapy? r up 2 date with this download stuff I have been a fan of Prince as long as I have been a fan of T? (since 93ish).
He was 1 of the 1st main stream artists 2 tackle the internet as a releasing forum, but as he is basicaly a control freak none bar his most recent (Guitar; released about a week b4 his Superbowl performance) release have been fan friendly. Where as T? got it right straight of, the free (random and song progression) download audio tracks, The Rain Hits Concrete single was fantastic and the webgig is an interesting concept that could, no sorry should grow in2 something amazing.
It is also cool 2 c that T? (Micheal at least!) r taking on board all the comments, so things should only improve.
P.S. is there any idea on the total number of complete sets sold/number of covers sent out?

That would be awesome to do it with a small audience and to have tickets through the website but a competition.. That wouldnt be pleasant… the thought of losing through lucky dip would be horrible!
I’d much rather just pay and go and see them at the gig than do the competition. Hell, I’d pay to go and see them and then buy the gig set after also. But maybe when your at the gig you get some free T? niknaks.. something like that.

Depends on your DVD-player, not all dvd-players can read video-cd’s. But I’m not sure if the webgig video fits on one CD-r, I don’t remember how big it was, if it’s less than 700 MB shouldn’t be a problem.
