Was on a bit of a bender that weekend with Utrecht thrown in for good measure as well. All the Jupiler must have faded the memory somehow :)

I recently found a list of all American dates of the 1996 Ozzfest. Andy mentioned a couple of times in interviews that they played some of the dates, when available - can anyone remember how many?

The Ozzfest went on for most of September & October that year, and by my reckoning, Therapy? were possibly available for 10 dates maximum because they were touring Canada extensively at the time.

If someone can provide the number of dates T? played, I can then work out which ones.

Some more dates;
18/7/90 - Rockhouse, Derby (supporting The Beyond)
4/5/91 - Camden Falcon, London (supporting Sun Carriage)
13/12/91 - Duchess of York, Leeds (supporting Hole)
23/6/92 - Khyber Pass, Chicago (supporting Babes in Toyland) - I believe this to be the bands first gig in US, the one Andy mentioned as being a one-off show.

The band also played all 3 dates of Australia’s Alternative Nation Festival in 1995. There’s a recording of their Melbourne show as “19/4/95”, the correct date is 16/4/95.
14/4/95 - Alternative Nation Festival, Brisbane
15/4/95 - Alternative Nation Festival, Sydney
16/4/95 - Alternative Nation Festival, Melbourne

Didn’t know that! :)

From reading a Donington’95 piece that Michael wrote for Kerrang, they played;
Friday, 25/8/95 - ???, Hatfield, England - secret gig as “Australian Therapy?”

Darren, a correction for your list;
Tuesday, 3/3/92 The Venue, Edinburgh, Scotland (listed as London on your site)

Also, these dates did not happen / incorrect;
Wednesday, 24/8/94 Dalymount Park, Dublin, Ireland
Friday, 26/8/94 Daily Man Park, Sunstroke Festival, Ireland
Monday, 17/3/97 MTV Live ‘N’ Direct, St.Patrick’s Day, Ireland
Saturday, 11/3/00 Olympia Theatre, Dublin, Ireland.

December 5th 1992 Polytechnic, Nottingham, England
December 12th 1992 Venue, Oxford, England instead of Polytechnic, Nottingham, England
December 13th 1992 University, Colchester, England
March 19th 1993 Roadmenders, Northampton, England instead of The Forum, Hatfield, England
December 7th 1993 The Mill, Preston, England
December 8th 1993 University, Bradford, England
December 9th 1993 Queens Hall, Edinburg, Scotland
December 11th 1993 University, Hull, England
December 12th 1993 Riverside, Newcastle, England
December 13th 1993 University, Conventry, England
December 15th 1993 University, Bristol, England
(supportact was Cop Shoot Cop on all these dates in december)
February 9th 2000 Liquid Room, Edinburgh, Glasgow
February 10th 2000 University, Leicester, England
February 11th 2000 Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton, England
February 12th 2000 University, Southampton, England
November 26th 2003 Wedgewood Rooms, Porthsmouth, England instead of Fez, Reading, England (supportacts were White Light Motorcade, Amplifier)

Here’s some dates of signing sessions, but I’m not sure if they were signings alone, so maybe they don’t belong in the list:
June 11th 1995 Virgin Store, London, England
June 12th 1995 Virgin Store, Manchester, England
June 12th 1995 HMV, Manchester, England

For the anoraks amoungst you with a thirst for trivia knowledge and the like then how about this.

On their 10th December gig 1991 in TJ’s Newport they supported Daisey Chainsaw and Hole and it was here, yes here, that Kurt Cobain turned up and proposed to Courtney.

John Seicolo, the lovable owner of the club stopped Kurt on the door, asked him for his £5 entrance fee and on being told that he was talking to the mighty Kurt Cobaine and therefore shouldn’t need the £5, put an enormouse arm over his shoulder and told him, ever so politely, to pay-up or fuck-off. Tis true, I witnessed it myself through tears of laughter.

Kurt shouldn’t have felt left out however as Trilby, John’s fearsome yet likeable wife had previously thrown Iron Maiden out of the club for playing after hours and twatted Micheal Gira of The Swans about the head and neck for refusing to turn down the volume.

TJ’s was a club to end all clubs and Therapy loved playing there until they outgrew the place.

Ah, memories eh.

13/5/94 - Boathouse, Norfolk, VA
16/5/94 - Concert Hall, Toronto, ON, Canada
18/5/94 - State Theatre, Detroit, MI

I got these dates from a US press kit for Troublegum. I noticed the 18/5/94 date contradicts with a recording in trading circles from Agora Ballroom, Cleveland, OH. I think the Cleveland show was possibly on 19/5/94 instead. The press kits states there were more dates to follow so that show was probably added…

Potato Junkie from this gig appears on the “Rock’N Europe Live ‘92” CD.

Some nice quotes from Andy during this track actually: “what a bunch of ugly fuckers down the front!” and “blah blah blah, I’m so bored and you cunts aren’t helping me”. Sounds like they didn’t go down to well, not surprising since this gig was put on by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and featured bands from all over Europe - most of whom were not rock.
