It’s weird isn’t it? It started last night. It’s not the clocks, so it must be the Dutch …

Well Dennis, when you actually make that post (at 11.24) it might not be true anymore. You might have nipped out and bought a truckload of them …

Maybe we should synchronise our watches. What time would you like it to be? :)

For me sleep is an ancient lost art. 12 hours in a week is good going for me, never mind in one sitting!

To be honest I wish, i could sleep for 12 hours.. these days I can’t go to sleep before 1am and then I’m awake by 7 and just doze till 9 unless I have something to do. I used to be a champion sleeper back in the day!

Either that or Holland.

Well what else could it be?

@Divers - I could outsleep you any day of the week. I can sleep for 13 hours and still stay in bed for another 2 :D

If you go here and tell it you live in the Cape Verde Islands, it should be right.

I will go into intensive training and then I challenge you to a sleep off. It will be held over three days, with the total of hours calculated at the end. Included in the three days will be rest periods for toliet breaks, big meals and christmas TV to help drowzyness. Naps taken place in these rest periods are not included in your total.

The use of night nurse is banned and urine tests will be required!

Yes you’re older now, and you’re a clever swine, but they were the only ones who ever stood by you.

I’ve read about your sort when I was a kid. The story was called ‘The Princess and the Pea’. I’m not bothered by a soggy bed, I’m out like a light. Come back when you’re my age and you can back up your big mouth!! :p

The website has changed the clocks before it was meant to at the end of the month?

Pah, lightweight. Three days? I’ll have only just entered R.E.M sleep by then.

Rene said ages ago that it’s something to do with our server being in America and them doing things differently over there… but I don’t really know so I’m sticking with the time elf theory.

America have put their clocks forward early this year in an effort to cut CO2 emissions - the idea is every american will wait an extra hour before putting their lights on in the evening, hence the amount of electricity used is cut - overall effect, less CO2 in our atmosphere
