when did you start playing drums? since i don’t know i am guessing… not long, right? ;)

it may sound difficult, but i’d try to listen really carefully to the songs you wanna play and figure it out yourself. you’ll see it’ll be fun, even if it may be hard on the beginning. another good advise would be to start with the more easier and slower songs.

drum tabs seem to be a good help when you are starting to play drums, but i think they are only useful at the beginning. so you can find a good orientation, get to know different song structures and stuff… but really good drummers like fyfe, do often have very complicated. if that’s the case than it’s very very difficult to write drum tabs and its much more complicated to read them. especially as a amateur.

i’d say try it with your ear. learn how to figure it out yourself. but i’ll try to find something for you. if you still want it!

Cheers man…u r dead right…I’m only playin drums 3 months but am really a guitarist (pretty handy too)…so workin it out by ear is a lil’ difficult cos my ear is automatically drawn to the melody line… :(
But I’m gonna try n make myself feel better by putting Fyfe Ewings drumming in a league of it’s own…for pure originality if nothing else…but if you could point me in the direction of some tab for same I’d be very grateful man…cheers

it’s just that i really didn’t have any time since the last 2 weeks! i am not exactly sure, but i might have some on my harddisk. i’ll check for you and will let you know!

actually i could also write a drum tab myself. anyway, i’ll see what i can do.

I tabbed many songs of Therapy? in GuitarPro format. The drums too, accurate as possible…

Maybe you can use it to learn drum. I exported the drum track of “Fear of God” in ASCII format. So you have an exemple.

There, http://www.therapyquestionmark.co.uk/wallofmouths/showthread.php? … eadid=9764
you can find all Therapy? songs, in GuitarPro format.

Bye

Try playing things such as 6 Mile Water, and the rock version of Diane (Graham’s version) to get you used to playing by ear.
Then you move onto simple songs such as Screamager and build your way up! :)
That’s how I learnt anyways..
