Title: CABLE

Cable stuff should still be fairly easy to get unless it’s been deleted.

They were a fantastic band. (My old band supported them 3 times).

‘Down Lift the Uptrodden’ is their first LP (which is a combination of 2 Mini LP’s combined and it is superb!)

They have tunes and they really rock.

Similarly to Nirvana they were heavy but not easily definable as either punk/’indie’ (whatever that means these days!) or metal.

but they really rocked

2nd album was ‘When Animals Attack’ LP both were on Infectious so I would imagine are still easy enough to find.

try e-bay or amazon or infectious records themselves

Notorious.

Hey did you guys know that Cable actually played together a couple of months ago for the first time since they split up ?

There ex manager died in a motorcylce accident or something and Cable played two songs at his wake…

Rumours have been circulating lately about them reforming for a tour…fingers crossed

it’s true that Fyfe has been influenced by neil, when neil was playing in The Beyond.
So, the first drummer was influenced by the new drummer

WOW!
this is defenitely the message of the month!

very very cool, isn’t it?
are there actual any albums available by the beyond? would be interested in them…

now that’s interessting! i thought this can’t be true, since neil was never mentioned to be connected in any way to therapy? since he joined them and further he is way younger than the rest of the band.
wonder if thats true…

Therapy? have toured together with The Beyond, as their support act. Not a connection, but they did know each other.

They’ve got 2 albums out, Crawl (from 1992) and Chasm (from 1993), really worth checking out, personally I think Crawl is the best one. As soon as you put it on, you’ll no doubt recognise Neil’s amazing drumstyle :)

thank you soul doubt
the beyond is a thrash metal band ? cool !
I’m not totally surprised, because Neil’s favourite album is Slayer’s reign in blood. A thrash metal monument.

Really like the Beyond stuff - top band indeed. Had never heard of them before, goes to show what great talent goes unnoticed sometimes.

Not too mad about the Gorrilla stuff (probably an attempt to be more commercial)

Will be keeping an eye out for Beyond CDs.
