Most thought provoking film that you’ve seen

Started by The Auto Surgeon (Mark) in Chit-Chat

This is one for you to think about, as I would like to know what film people found the most thought provoking - you don’t have to have necessarily liked it, just the one that made you think about the story line the most.

For me it has to be one that I’ve seen in the last few months - Hard Candy. I didn’t know which way my head was thinking when I watched it.

Naked Lunch - Videodrome got me thinking more, but can’t say that it didn’t get me thinking. “Clockwork” didn’t really do anything for me.

Theres tonnes of thought provoking movies.. I dont think I can pick any in particular, though:

Fear and Loathing
Fight Club
Scopophobia.. nah just kidding I havent even seen it :P

I agree with you there.
Schlindler was possibly the greatest man that ever lived simply for saving so many lives.
I watched a bit of Downfall on a plane, you know on one of those TV screens fitted into a seat, a very interresting film.
Saving Private Ryan confused me a bit the first time I watched it (don’t ask why) but it’s not really thought provoking…
