Is it allowed at T? gigs?
Where do you hide it when forbidden? :)

To film or to make pictures?
For pictures no problem, to film, come early, and ask the band’s permission. Without permission, hide it near your crotch, if it’s not a massive camera of course ;)

Or do it like NIN-fans do, hide it between your girlfriends breasts :D

The band normally aren’t bothered by cameras. But soul doubt is right, ask permission from them first. If your going to a gig soon, email them! :)

got once permission from Andy himself to shoot but their tourmanager didn´t like the idea of that…but still after seeing the shoot couple of years later he(tourmanger) said that it´s a damn good bootshoot.
Our 8 mm vidcamera is crap these days so there wont be any boots from us anymore:D

No, it’s just a normal digital camera for taking pictures. :)

I know the band doesn’t give a damn for that, but I’m more concerned about security…

Different bands and tour managers have different policies on cameras. It could have been at WASP’s request that no cameras were to be used.

I work with a venue security company and we have a meeting with tour managers before every show to ascertain what restrictions they want in place. The general rule is that small digital cameras and 35mm cameras without a detachable lens are fine.

Now and again you get a band who just (for whatever reason) don’t want people taking pictures at all, but if this is the case it’s the job of the secutity people to let you know this on your way into the venue.

Sounds like T? have no problems with cameras, so, you should be ok. Hope this helps.
