The typing of old people I’m fine with. It’s the physical look of them that bothers me. And I mean people 90+.

You’re only 63, mrs h ;)

i have an irrational fear of seeing people on television using needles. i don’t really mind having injections myself, but to see other people have them done freaks me out. i literally have to turn away.

They’re ok in photos, but my old flat had an infestation of them. They can run faster than your average human walking speed, they change direction like those light cycles in Tron, climb up sheer walls just as easily, and eat books. Oh, and their scales really are mirrored, so they catch the light unnaturally as they taunt you.

I thought you’d be in your element living with a real life Doctor Who-type monster? I thought you’d have made friends with them. One at least. A girl. It didn’t work out.

some time ago i had a few of those silverfish in my room too, and i have to agree with Misanthropologist! He described them pretty well… and they really can run like hell, you wouldn’t believe it!
But actually they are harmless, i never noticed that they eat books! and if so, than it would probably be an advantage for pupils like me… “where your’s homework?”, “errm, yeah… awww, the silverfish ate it!”

I hate cockroach’s as much as D hate’s Silverfish. For the same reasons basically, and watching Stephen King’s Creep Show didn’t help matters. :(

I hate having injections, I either go as pale as (clean) hospitl walls or faint (mind you I did have SEVEN of the B’stds in one go). I can gladly watch others be stuck with them. :D

I used to hate birds (the feathered varity), but it just seems to have disappeared.

I used to be scared of heights, but I got over that in Switzerland in 1988. Those cable-cars just make you really think about it.

So if you saw a cow coughing up a load of dead birds and fish in a big globule of yellow green snot it would be a bad thing?

Sorry *blushes*

I agree about the phlegm thing… I’m struggling to type now because the thought is making me gip - but when people cough and you can hear it rattling and then some people do theat f**king disgusting sort of snoring snorting thing and then spit snot all over the pavement - or worse don’t spit it out and you know they’ve swallowed it.

I’m going away to be sick now.

Not possible. I shall continue to use old bits of Gracious Me until they are worn out, and then I shall give them to a charity shop :)
