I managed ok from the 7digital site.

Can’t believe I have to waste 2 CD’s to convert WMA’s into MP3’s though.

Is there really no better way to do this electronically?

Yes but I couldn’t be bothered searching for a free program to do it…I downloaded a couple but you had to pay for full functionality.

Instead of a CDR you could use a CDRW. Or you could just make an image using Nero’s imagerecorder. Then you can mount that in a virtual drive (daemon tools, alcohol 120% etc.) Still, something of an effort.

Otherwise, I assume you could simply grab your audio directly from the soundcard and things like that.

Anyway, not a bad release! Some versions are superiour to the studio releases, sometimes the rough sound is really cool.

However, it’s the first and probably last time I’ll buy something that’s DRM-protected.

Saw the link and finally bagged myself a copy for the excellent price of £7.77 - barganin.

Fucked if I was gonna give £22 to HMV for it the robbing bastards!

The copy protection is a ball ache. Why do these download people insist on making it so much harder to legitimately purchase music than to just steal it?

This is only the 3rd time I have downloaded anything legally (rock you monkeys and the web gig previous), and it is so much easier to grab something off bit-torrent.

Its in a lower bit-rate, not to mention the wait.

If this is ever going to be a viable way for the band to make money, someone has got to get shit sorted!

That aside - the songs are ace!

Don’t think so, the universal website doesn’t say they are or the spitfire one.

One thing that is really fucking shit about the spitfire site is that they haven’t updated the Therapy? page since 2003… so anyone checking that site will think they haven’t done anything in 4 years. That is frankly crap, have they never heard of promotion or marketing? I do sort of wish they got a new label.. i sometimes find they hinder the group and their releases reaching the full potential that they have…is it just me?

Can you not burn an audio cd of the tracks on the original computer and then you play it on your CD player and cut out the computer completley? Also you can then re-import the tracks as any format you wish if you have an MP3 player.

Don’t know if that is any help?
