Hi,
I have found this strange link in one of the Czech webstores. It basically says, Therapy? GOLD DVD, to be released on Universal on 20.4.2007.
Is it real?

Their manager has no idea what this is, so he’ll check with Universal, once they’re done looking for easter eggs.

Maybe MTACT was a sucess for them and theyve realised theres still money in t?

wouldnt suprise me if this was a cheap quick release maybe something like the brixton concert and the A&m music videos and i doubt the band will even get a say in anything to do with this.

It would be great if this “new” dvd contained the material/footage which was filmed at the London guitar show last may.
Also the “missing” promo videos from Scopobfobia would be nice to have there included.

Surely if a new DVD of our fave band is coming out, don’t you think it’ll be in the news part of this site by now. I’m all up for a new DVD, even if its an old gig and promo videos that weren’t on the previous release. At least Universal understand that there’s still a following for our chosen band, even if that means that the company/band don’t get a massive turn over with the product in question.

i am pretty sure it will be a concert dvd, with little or no bonus material.

i did i bit of a research and found already a few sites that have this item in their range. i did also find this site:
http://www.velvetmusic.nl/shopping/zoektemplate.php?trefwoord=GOL … drager=%25

there are a bunch of bands that will have a new release called “gold dvd”. they are/will all be released from universal. click for example at the cranberries link:
http://www.velvetmusic.nl/shopping/product_details.php?id=3068685&lang=nl

now you can imagine what the cover will look like!

i am wondering from which area the concert will be? actually it really could be the brixton gig, because t? were most famous at the time this gig happened. but who knows maybe its also from 2003, like the paradiso gig they did in amsterdam…

anyway, we’ll see about that! let’s surprise ourselfs… i hope it will be available on amazon.de

Sounds alright to me, plenty vidoes I haven’t even seen. Then they can get to work on the DVD set with concert footage from EACH stage in the bands career, documentary, and tv appearances. For christmas. Please.

Maybe its the full footage of what actually happened before they filmed their drunken awakening at the end of the Scopophobia DVD ;)

You can just tell ol’ mikey trying to hide his smirk as he crawls through the door.

Scary tho is Martin and Andy’s acting, I thought was rather decent.

Just how many shopping bags did Mr Cairns have at the end there?

:p

If it’s on Universal, then it’s highly unlikely to be anything from 99 onwards as other record labels would own the footage rights… and are Universal going to want to shell out to buy it off other labels or share the profits?

It sounds more like a quick buck off some archive stuff they have.
