Forgot in my previous post: was there any new tourmerchandise for sale at the gig?

Hey there,

Therapy in La Réunion… wooow !
I’ve been living in La Réunion for about 18 years, and I can approve this is a legendary fact. I’m a bit disappointed not to be there right now…
Picture the scene : beach, sun and rock gigs ! Yeeaah.
And the guys from T? are really cool (I met them while recording a live acoustic show here in Paris), I’m sure they loved Reunion… so peaceful.

Did they taste Americain bouchon gratiné ?

Can’t wait for the pics ! And hopefully, a live recording…

Alright guys, I just got back from our last night with the guys and I really didn’t have time to keep you posted, sorry about that. It was the last day, chilling and farewells for everyone so I was thinking that Magnus would have posted the setlist in the morning, but he got up late.

I’ll post the setlist (i got Neil’s) in a few hours after a good night of sleep. Once again, sorry for the slow process but we had to spend as much time as we could with our guests, considering this is probably not gonna come around every second day.

GREAT pictures from last night, they’ll be worth the wait.

Peace,

F.

similar setlist to the friday´s gig? Feels strange to wait for post on this topic, as usually Robby, An..just name them, keeps us updated on these live threads:)
Dunno what time it is at La Reunion right now, is it night now and maby Fred is at “deep sleep” at the moment? We´ll get more highlights from him when he´s back online.
Guess that Magnus is on his way to Norway so we get more story from him too in near days when he´s back home in Scandinavia. I´m sitting here “in a fireplace” waiting for tomorrows trip:)

Hi all,

Just got back online after a good day of rest.
The guys and Magnus left this morning around 10 local time, and it was a real pleasure to have them here.

I think I’m gonna wait for Magnus’ return to comment with him, as I’m sure he has more insightful comments to make than me.

In the meantime…

Everybody had a great time. Both gigs ended up with people hanging around and having drinks, on the beach the second night mind you.

Magnus surprised me like wtf, cos he seemed a bit too calm to be true : the first time I introduced him to the band, I think the only thing he said was “Hello” and “Great!”… haha and then, there he was, at the end of the gig, reaching out to touch Andy’s hand as if HE HAD NOT MET HIM AN HOUR BEFORE. Magnus was awesome, and I think he enjoyed the last night more than anything, he got “Polar Bear” dedicated to him and spent the evening with the guys. I got my Boss DS-1 signed by T? and heard good feedback about my band too. Needless to say this was a great experience for us.

Yes sir,

More like 45 mins

the last night was shared between 4 bands and T? was closing. The previous gig was longer, which was actually cool cos I think it was the most crowded. The last one was outdoor, amazing venue but quite hard to fill up for a rock concert. The guys still ripped and finished their stay with a nice “bouquet final”

Hey,

back in Norway, so I thought I’d drop a few lines about the concerts.

Tho’ the second one was a bit on the short side(because 4 bands were playing that night and there was simply no more time), the whole thing was really a blast. Therapy? were on good form, and it looked like they enjoyed themselves on stage. The mix between old and new material was pretty good, and I specially enjoyed hearing “Our White Noise” of their last record on the St. Pierre concert. Much to look forwards to for the people that are going to the rest of the shows. :)

Gotta say that I also enjoyed the other bands that were playing. Definately a festival that is well worth the visit, and some great hospitality! Be sure to go to Thermoboy gigs whenever they come to mainland Europe for a tour.

That’s pretty cool. Reunion is a very weird, but very beautiful place (hope you got out of St Denis a bit, the circs are fantastic), somewhat like an Indian Ocean Iceland ,I thought, except without the ice.

Salut les guys,

I just read that T? finally got back from this memorable tour. Can’t wait fo their comments and pics.

I, for one, will soon be getting a copy of the first T? gig in La Reunion (Bato Fou, april 6th) and maybe a video… As usual, I’ll check with the band if they’re ok with spreading the goods, and i’ll post all I have (including all my pics from the 2nd night).

In the meantime, I found a couple of pics from the radio interview Andy did in Saint-Pierre for local radio 102 FM :

http://www.102fm.net/tribu/component/option,com_zoom/Itemid,62/pa … ,36/hit,1/

http://www.102fm.net/tribu/component/option,com_zoom/Itemid,62/pa … ,37/hit,1/

http://www.102fm.net/tribu/component/option,com_zoom/Itemid,62/pa … ,38/hit,1/

Andy sang Nowhere and another song (which I didn’t hear cos I was on my way to the studio).

Not the best quality, but let’s call it an appetizer :D

Peace,

F.

In the meantime, more pics from people in the audience (second night) : http://kissofmetal.canalblog.com/albums/rougail_rock/index.html

Still waiting for the audio for both concerts… patience, I think it’ll be worth it !
