Hi,my name is Darren

new member on here, but been a fan since 1993.
Purchased the Webgig last night and signed up to the messageboard.
Well impressed with the Webgig audio, very meaty sounding.
Only seen the band 3 times and all at festivals, hoping to do something about that the next time they tour.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any good bootlegs?
I have none at the moment,I have all the official released albums and most of the singles (missing ones from the last 2 albums).

Cheers for any help. ;)

Hi Darren, welcome to WoM, and good to hear you like the web gig :-)

I’m not a big collector of Therapy? bootlegs, but one I’d personally recommend is “Dead Laughing”, which has been discussed in this thread. There are others on the message boards who know a lot more about T? bootlegs than me, so hopefully one of them will be able to give you some more advice.

Hi everybody

I am a new member here, but have been fan long times. Just saw T? first time in Vienna 10.4 and it was a blast. I think that from now on I´m gonna be on T? concert whenever I have a chance…

As Teethgrinder already said, “Dead Laughing” is a very good bootleg, it’s the best factory printed bootleg in my opinion… although it’s been quite a while since I listened to it, I prefere the better audience recordings… gigs you attended are always nice to get your hands on, not always easy though :(

Check my webpage in my signature to get an idea of what’s in circulation.

cheers for the welcome.

I have some tracks from Donington 1995 on a cd somewhere.
I was at that gig and I was at the Phoenix Festival the year before when they played Me Vs You.
The last time I saw them was at Ozzfest 1998,and I was kinda drunk, lol.
I’m going to see if a venue in Preston can get them to play.
It’s called 53 Degrees and quite a few signed bands have already played there (Wonderstuff,Ash,Cradle Of Filth,Hundred Reasons and The Levellers to name a few).
Also if they play there it gives some of the local bands a chance to support them.(my band :p)

Welcome DC71!

Saw the post about your kit and being a thumper of tubs thought I’d say hi and welcome to WoM!

I’m pretty usless on the bootleg front - have very few myself and nothing really of note. That means I’ll stick to talking drums and maybe abit of Wigan seeing as I’m moving over that way - just bought a house in Golborne (I’m all “Cheshire Set” in Altrincham at the moment).

:D

I saw Porcupine Tree last night in Preston at the 53 Degrees.
I’m pushing for them to get Therapy? on at this venue,it’s about the size of Manchester Academy, really big stage, good lighting and an awesome PA system.

I reckon Therapy? would go down a storm at this place.
