It certainly does not. How can you be summed up without a rousing chorus of Olivia Newton John’s ‘Sam’, or Dolly Parton’s delightful ‘Jolene’? :p

The weirdest thing on my MP3 player is Smokie’s ‘Do To Me’ and I’m never taking it off, it’s ace!! :D

The double gone chapel is their last album.. the thing that got released last year is just a comp of really early 12” stuff, it’s okay.. they really became special from stay down onwards. Double gone was my album of 2004!

Maybe you should pay attention to some of your own advice.

@sam

I really liked the first UNKLE album, but i felt the second one wasn’t so good and James Lavelle has gone up his own arse since.

I would get the album before, personally I think it far better and a much darker record. It’s more beaty as DJ Shadow is the producer, and has a whole host of guests… which may or may not appeal to you?

I should really listen to Never Never land more… i guess i was so used to the other albums style it felt like it was a complete change when it came out.

I’ll check it out, definitely. I know DJ Shadow’s Endtroducing and I like the dark tracks on that.

What ruins Never Never Land for me is the songs with the really weedy voiced guy singing.
