#

Started by Gimme Back My Brainsaw (Mike Hunt)

If anyone have ever heared of this horribly bad band you will know how popular they are with all the lil scene kids (eg myspace freaks)

theres bbeen lots of speculation that there singer Oli Sykes at a gig last night has pissed on a female fan and a bottle of jaggameister has been thrown at her,

I have had the misfortune of seeing these guys live and can tell you they are arrogant pricks but never wud i think their front man would sink this low, apparently cus the girl refused to fuck the married rockstar

heres supossed pic of girl

When you were a kid, if you fell down chances are you’d cry, I tend to find as an adult if twat myself against something I try to hold it together by not screaming and shouting rather than crying. Anyways they say they don’t actually know for sure who threw the bottle.

There was a Kerrang reporter on the bus to according to that link above

So bad to abuse woman like that..

If you find the bands myspace you can see them leaving a blog about it. The court date has been postponed to May. Umm.. that’s all I remember finding that had much relevance.

Seems odd to me that he would be infront of Magistrates as this is an indictable offence and part of criminal Law. I would’ve thought they would try him by jury.

I think the police and the courts have bigger fish it fry than taking up valuable time and money dragging this minor incident to court.

It would also be bad to treat a man like that Viirkokka.

So which is a “bigger” and more serious offence?

A woman drinking some ginger beer and finding a snail in it.

OR; the aformentioned offence with the BMTH singer.

Well obviously the first one, come on its a snail for god sake!! ;)

Just saying that its not a case for a jury to get involved in as it is not a big enough crime. In Ireland that kind of case would be handled in the District Court where the Judge would hand down the decision and sentence. I assume it would be much the same in the UK.

But it’s Actual bodily harm - wounding with intent.

“In most criminal justice systems and some civil cases which need a jury, panels are initially allotted at random from the adult population of the district served by the court concerned.”
-Wikipedia; Juries

ABH comes under Criminal Law. That’s why I figured they will have a jury.. but I could be wrong :P

Has anyone read the review of Bring Me the Horizon’s album in kerrang!? They made a shit album and Kerrang knew this - the whole review is trying politely not to say how bad it is and talks of their ‘potential’ and gives it 3 K’s at the end. Why are these journalists afraid of really taking to task a band so bad? I bet Kerrang! thought they were going to be the next poster boys and wanted to be in favour with them - well, know they’ve found out the truth the hard way hah! BMTH suck hard! :D

I think if you are arrested and charged with an offence, you have to stand before a magistrate to enter a plea, if you pleaded not guilty, then the case is adjourned and the cps go off and gather evidence against you, the magistrate can also refer the case to crown court if it needs a jury to decide…

If he pleaded not guilty then I suppose this is what would happen. If he pleaded guilty then I would imagine the magistrate would decide whether he should be remanded into custody / bailed until sentencing…

I’m no expert, but thats how I think it works.
