Terrorvision was great, I love them a lot. They came to Turkey in 1997 one week bfore T?. And, their drummer Shutty introduced me to Lloyd who was guitar technician for both T? and TV. Lloyd introduced me to Andy. Thanks Lloyd and Shutty!!!

My favourite Terrorvision track of all time had to be Josephine. What a classic…it was just so cool.

What a great band.
Saw them twice at Wolves in about 1998 and 2001.
Always a good gig.

I saw them on several occassions, the weirdest being when they played one of the college balls at Cambridge and there was about 300 people in ball gowns and dinner suits moshing away, most peculiar. Also was given tix to see them on the farewell tour by my girlfriend last year, which would have been a sad and moving occassion if Tony Wright hadn’t bounded on stage shouting that we’d have none of that sort of behaviour.

Definitely a very missed band, but suspect they left at the right time, always felt that they left behind the perfect back catalogue.

I saw Terrorvision twice - once supporting REM in Huddersfield (the centre of the universe), and once at the Pheonix festival. I’ve got long-lasting memories (and a couple of cool scars) from getting incredibly squished during American TV, but damnit it was good fun. I’ll miss them loads, but yeah, i think they got out at the right time.

Also seen the Fun Lovin Criminals three times, but that’s because they’re the only band that keep coming over to the isle of man.

Didn’t get Formaldehyde until after they split, so for a long time all I knew about American TV and My House was how they sounded live.

somewhat off topic, shall I have a number 3 or number 4 haircut? It’s 16.04 and you have 26 minutes to comment…

I usually get a number 2, which is pretty tight.

Although, I’m kinda growing it a bit longer so I haven’t had a haircut in about 3 months.

Only somewhat? Um, get a number 3. You can always grow it back if you dont like it. But buy a hat, because it’s getting nippy out.

Sorry guys, it’s a four on top, but a chilly one around the ears.

And just to get back on topic, I shall play some T’vision whilst showering off all the bits currently down my neck.

OK I’ve been listening to some Terrorvision recently and its been making me think. Does anyone know where I can get a video of the Newcastle Bigg Market gig (Mosqueto Pulse and The Drum supporting)or can anyone tell me the name of the song that goes “Party over here, fuck you over there!” I think those are the lyrics, any help would be greatly appreciated!

i think that song’s called “friends and family”. when i went to see them live i remember tony wright wanted half the crowd to sing ‘party over here’ and the other half ‘fuck you over there’. it could have been addressed to their old label!
