Some cunt I used to work with nicked my RFTC hoodie - I was well upset but couldn’t prove it. Its best moment was Abe Cunningham from Deftomes walking to their tour bus and stopping to comment “Yeah man, RFTC fucking rock, what a fucking band!”

Been listening to some Uli Jon Roth era Scorpions (72-78)..good stuff except when he sings
Also Deep Purple- In Rock and Fireball.
UFO’s Strangers in the Night still in heavy rotation.
I guess I’ve been in a bit of a 70’s big guitar arena rock mood lately.

I’m really enjoying it.. some excellent versions of his back catalogue and songs that I don’t know and the DVD is a really personal show.. well worth the money:)
I didn’t really think to much of his Fast man album… a bit too long and samey. I’m really Looking forward to the new Black Francis album he has out soon as it’s meant to be more like Teenager of the year.. back to the loud guitars so that should be cool:)
Is the D Jr album worth buying then?

It’s okay, nothing like the other two… alot more atmospheric and centered round native indian sounds. There isn’t really a “rape this day” type all out chorus but some really cool tracks later in the album. It’s definatly one that becomes better the more you play it.
