I think theres still a lot remains to be seen from Ashton. West Ham wernt exactly doing badly when he signed for them last season. IMO i think his impact has been over-rated, saying that, I would like to see him do well. Its about time England got a forward who can actually put the ball in the net.

Congrats to Sunderland & Brimingham for making it, but as they know staying there is the real concern.

So all London teams to get relegated (so you know I reckon Wigan are safe) - with none coming up. Just means more coach journeys for the remaining london clubs.

Just need Liverpool to beat Fulham & us to beat Bolton, also helpful would be Utd beating City & the gunners beating Arsenal * - I wonder what Arsenal would hate more: Beating Chelsea to give Man Utd the title or allowing Chelsea to beat them??? :P

* Then it would mean that Man Utd wouldn’t have to put out a full strength squad in their last game of the season & save people for the FA Cup final (and poss. the Champions League final). You know I’m praying. :(

Exciting match last night, not the greatest football but exciting none the less. The pool deserved their win. Does this mean the end of Jose? if they loose the league is he going to get the boot? it would be a joke if he did.

Man Utd to beat the lot of em :)

Pool were definately the better team over the match last night. I don’t know where Jose get’s his rose tinted glasses, but I he must have bought half the shop to think Chelsea were the better side last night.

The FA Cup final will be the deciding factor if Jose stays at Chelsea or not, if they loss that then I think Roman will get rid of him. But who else would want him? He’d start spending again wherever he went, he now needs the money to back his ideas and not many clubs would be willing to take on the whole package that comes along now with Jose.

Kill Hill - I just hope Man Utd do get through tonight & then a great game in the final is a real prospect for every neutral out there. If Milan get through I’ll be supporting them in the final.

KJC Dublin - I like Don’t Cry, so please find another song to link with a sad Chelsea team. :(

Sorry KJC Dublin but I still think that Milan will have too much for Liverpool this time, as they still have to get any place in the Champions League for next season.

Well,

We will have to wait and see, that is what everyone was saying the last time - remember 2005?

If we up the tempo like Man U did in the first game and defend tight - those old men from Milan will tire.

And unlike Man U, who pay a brainless moron over £120k a week to be their central defender, Liverpool actually have a defence.

I admit that it will be tricky, but you can’t write the pool off just yet - Benitez already has his mind on the final…

Oh yeah and finally - how Ronaldo got player of the year over Kaka defies logic…

Milan are comfortably in 3rd place in their league so, like Liverpool, have secured their place in next season’s qualifiers.

Neither side will have an extra incentive to win this time around, except maybe revenge for Milan!

I think we’ll go down to a narrow 2-1 defeat. It’ll be close but I think Milan will do it.

Yeah,

It will be tight alright and I know that Milan will be hungry for revenge after 2005 - man do I have fond memories of that night…

I hope for a repeat and will admit that, although being a Pool fan, this is going to be a tough one.

Kaka and Seedorf are dangerous in front of goal.

I’d love to see an Arsenal-Milan knock out in the 3rd round qualifier, but it won’t happen.

Seedorf to get his fourth Champions League winners medal - yes.
