Favorite TV Shows

What’s everyone’s favorite shows to watch on TV.

Let go with current shows as an all time favorite list could be ridiculously long.

Right now my faves are

The Shield
The Wire - These two could be top 10 all time material. We’ll see how they wrap them both up. I have faith that the Wire’s last season will be great, but the Shield’s last season (now half over) could be the best ever.
So far not a bad episode between them.

Dexter - a lot of promise here, second season comes

My Name is Earl - gotta love Jason Lee

Two and a Half Men - consistently funny.

The Sopranos - last season blew, but this seasons been great. But they still have the chance to botch it.

Wire in the Blood - need to do more episodes though

Pardon The Interuption -for the US sports nuts.

What else good is out there?

‘The Sporanos’ (you’re right, the series with steve buscemi was shite, but this one’s been good).

‘Peep Show’

Football

One off Channel 4 Dramas

I just bought two box sets of the 1960s ‘Twilight Zone’

Am forced to watch ‘Desperate Houswives’ (which is OK) and ‘Ugly Betty’ (which I f**king hate) by my girlfriend

I’ll probably watch Big Brother when it’s on (which will be soon by the way!)

You know that’s almost certainly going to go to channel five next year? Which I’m guessing will lower your opinion of the Licence Fee even more :o

Yeah, I saw that on the news (missed most of the item as I was too busy being amused that Neighbours even made it on to the national news :D).

I do think I might disable the telly and give up on it all together. If I had £135 a year to spend on DVDs instead, that would probably be enough viewing for me anyway.

I don’t really want C5 to have it though - if they have Neighbours, when will they find the time to start running repeats of Sunset Beach?

Considering yours and d’s relationship runs along very much the same lines as an episode of Sunset Beach, I would have thought you’d be more keen on the idea :p

I’m sure I suggested this ages ago, so own the rights… but I will be nice and give a 5%/95% split in my favour if it comes out.. but only as I like you… you fat wanker.

I think the original idea was a series of videos. I may be wrong, but I’m going to pretend I’m not.

Dan, step away from him, he’s bad news. Don’t trust his deals. If you want 5% of any profits, you come and speak to me, like usual.

And what is wrong with that?

As of the current programmes that I make some effort to see are:
CSI - Vegas & NY, MOTD & Gillette Soccer Saturday

As for the past (a lot of these I saw as repeats, so bear with me here), just some to get started with:
The Professionals, The Two Ronnies, Streethawk, Highway Man, Coupling (except series 4), The Old Grey Whistle Test, The Muppet Show, The Water Margin, Drop The Dead Donkey and Monkey. :D
