My last gig I went to was one of Lyzanxia at Angers - France. Lyzanxia is a very good metal band. I think they’re pretty known in northern Europa. Whatever they played fastest and hardest they could do. They created a fucking good sympathical ambience between them and audience, they are really cool as well. Well done guys.

I can concur that The Haunted on Saturday night were excellent, they just look so happy while they are playing that the whole aggressive metal band look is sort of lost. But really enjoyed it.
It’s not a music gig but saw Punt & Dennis last night and they were so funny… milky milky!

Do you live in Somerset? (Or go to Somerset to see them, probably Yeovil?)
Just wondering, ‘cause I’ve seen them advertised around here a lot.

Title: QOTSA last night @ 100 club
What an excellent gig, tiny venue and tickets only given to the fans so touts couldn’t take advantage and a great crowd of people. They show cased pretty much all of the new album with a song from each of the other releases. The new songs sounded great, hard to take in on a first listen and in a live enviroment… but some really interesting stuff.:D:D I will post photos in a bit.

He still looks like a ginger Peter “Look Around You” Serafinowicz to me.
In the No One Knows video, I always expect him to drawl ‘Hi, Yeah… Duane Benzie.’
Is it just me? It can’t be surely? It is, isn’t it? :(

Nope - I was off my face. I know they opened with Vanilla Radio (unusual) and played Sick Of Drugs, Headfuck, Everlone, TV Tan, Suckerpunch, Nita Nitro, Rooting For The Bad Guy, The Revolution Will Be Televised and Someont That won’t let me go.
I can’t however, remember in what order, or what else they played - but it was essentially a greatest hits set (isn’t it always) with a couple of newbies thrown in for good measure.
I don’t remember hearing 29 x the pain though - which is really totally unheard of

And he had Brian Downey of Thin Lizzy on the drums and they did the starts-off-slow-then-goes-into-the-fast-version take on Lizzy’s “Don’t Believe A Word”
