Forget the rain…

… Forget the car.. etc.

Seriously it’s been raining consistantly since around friday evening, gale winds - pretty weird for this time of year. I kinda like it though, awesome video gaming weather - plus its good for the water reserves and means less likely-ness of drought this year.

Oh and it’s good for the garden! :D

Thoughts?

Sitting in the office, looking out the window and it is absolutely lashing rain outside - rain is hitting the concrete hard.

I am in the office though, so why would I want good weather while I am stuck in front of a PC :)

I must report it’s still raining though it appears to be calming down somewhat.

I can tell you have no experience of the total ineptitude of Yorkshire Water. It could piss it down for a year without stopping and we would still have a hosepipe ban 2 weeks later …

Is that why you always make it rain in my heart? Because you like it?? *sobs. yes, again.*

You’ve got it the wrong way round. This is my favourite weather BECAUSE your heart is a bit of a wimp.

Wait, that came out wrong.

I ran 20 miles in the rain on Sunday, and rather enjoyed most of it, despite having waterlogged shoes and wet pants by the end :)

It was just the rain, yes. Not so with my running top which had twin bloody streaks down the front. I guess it chafes more on sensitive areas when wet.

Why would you do such a thing? Have you never heard of a mug of cocoa and a good book?

Must admit I’ve never heard of chafed areas excreting cocoa, let alone a bible. In my experience, it’s blood.
