Getting tickets for it will be tricky by this point - last time the came to Dublin not even the touts had tickets (I laughed at the money grabbing bastards!).
Just after listening to the full United Abominations and I like it.
I will admit that it is kind of lacking a total stand out track, but on the other hand there is no filler in there whatsoever (maybe the new A tout le monde…).
Guitar playing is bloody awesome as one has come to expect of Mr. Mustaine. Can’t wait to give it a few more spins.
Can’t wait for the gig - Long live da thrash! :D

I’ve given the one a few listens. I think Dave’s running out of ideas. Some of the rhythms are starting to sound too similar.
But one thing I was really surprised was some of his solos. I thought some of his solos were a little stale on the System Has Failed, but he really went off in some places on United Abominations…the new guy’s pretty good too.
Dave’s still a great player, and shows flashes of brilliance, but he only seems to have half albums left in him. I think he needs a songwriting partner or something.

Nah, haven’t seen it.
Was it Happy Dave, Mad Dave or Stoned Dave for the majority of it?
I got my ticket as well - is sold out. Wonder who the support is gonna be.
UA is a pretty solid disc if you ask me - class guitar playing.

well, what did ye make of it. really enjoyed it my self, the crowd were giving it loads and the megadeth delivered the goods. the set list was pretty close to the one above, dont think the played Reckening day. the sound in the ambassator was a bit dodgy as ever. i was up the front for the first few numbers but i moved back to the edge od the madness to the left hand side in front of the speakers and the sound around there was excellent.
the highlight was probably the first couple of notes to the solo to Holy Wars, for me that was the money shot

Well, last nights gig was good, (despite the fact that Dave Mustaine can’t sing live) The setlist was pretty much as mentioned before, tho it was jumbled about a bit.
Saw a guy with the Therapy? Gemil and bones t shirt on. Good man!!:)

Just like the T? show at Leeds, with the people singing the Teethgrinder lick, Andy even stopped and let the crowd sing
