Agreed.

I hate it how festivals get the word “Stock” tacked on the end, cos of Woodstock, and how every political scandal is something-GATE, after Watergate.

Would it be as daft as actually having ‘The Glasgow Festival’ in Northern Ireland? ;)

Is it just me or is there a bit of a festival overload this year?

In Scotland alone, there has already been the Skye festival and Rock Ness. Still to come is T in the Park, Connect, The afore mentioned Indian Summer and the Wicker Man festival, not to mention the stadium gigs at Hampden as well. I just think that there is now too many and most of them probably won’t live up to much.
