Dammit, I wanted to go to that didnt realise it was on til I’d already planned something else.

Saw him at the Charlotte in Leicester a few years ago and that was superb.

My last gig was Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra at the Scala in London. Very good.

Was working at Indian Summer at the weekend. Mainly pretty dull, but Idlewild and Wilco were good, and The Flaming Lips were superb.

I’ve seen Joe Satriani a couple of times, and i find that after 10 mins or so it does get very boring. It’ll be the same for me on Wed - Steve Vai’s playing, and although I admit that the man can play, it’ll just end up being dull as fuck.

Snaggletooth was a GREAT opener! The crowd was really wild and many people got carried away from the front cause of the pressure. Like I said it was a great gig but they should “clean” the setlist a bit heavier, IMO. Snaggletooth was deffo the highlight for me and it came 1st, after that I slowed down:)I´m getting öld:)
No drinking this time for this young boy as I was the driver back höme as promised. It was nice to watch the others in our posse, how drunk they were at the end of the day:D

What do you mean by “clean the setlist”..?

You mean give it a good shake up and swap things around/ take songs out and put some more variety in?

If so, I couldn’t agree more - always a great live band but too much of the same all the time.

Yep, they should change the setlist more often as they´ve got plenty of excellent songs from albums like 1916, Bastards, Snakebite love etc., they could play.

Anyway, saw The Rölling Bönes yesterday at the olympic stadium in Hellsinki. Great show: highlight for me was when Keith Richards fell on Charlie Watt´s drum stand on his back and he still kept playing, guess Keith was not in this planet for the most of the gig:)
“Symphaty for the devil” & “Paint it black” worked excellent. Also “Wanna hold you” which Keith ofcourse sang, was gold for my ears. Great pyro and that massive tongue was nice:)
Those “papas” still know how to rock for sure.

I like Wanna Hold you, cool tune.

When I saw them, Keith did Before They Make Me Run, which is my all-time favourite Keith-sung Stones tune.

Yeah,Before they make me run is a cool tune too. Keith sang one more song too yesterday but I don´t remember what it was now. I wanted to hear Little T&A but they had skipped that from the setlist.

Cool…never seen the Cure live. You must have had to take a few supplies in to see you through a 3 1/2 hour set.

They were really heavy, sadly i have the flu so the only supplies i had were strepciles and water… it went quite quickly, i quite liked the no keyboards they seemed to put more effort into the whole thing because of the space.

Down and Heaven and Hell in Sydney

Down were fucking awesome… so pleased i decided to go, Phil is now very much sober so he voice is fantastic.. he is less funny but puts everything into the gig.

Heaven & Hell were also really good… after seeing the ozzy black sabbath a few years ago and thinking they were okay as he just could not sing it was nice to have a singer who can still hit the notes… they crowd was well up for it and they were on form so concidering i didn’t expect much i was very impressed.

Quo, though you may well take the piss, were very very good, whilst The Damned were very slick and professional for a so-called punk band, but a little dull all the same.

And no, it wasn’t me that shot the dude on the way home.

Ooops, forgot to mention, before that I saw Prince at the O2 arena last Tuesday - A quality gig in itself, but the aftershow gig was even better. Getting to see Prince jam with his band in a club with around 2000 people in at such close range was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. His latino support band were fucking awesome too.
