how to ruin a perfectly good therapy? song

heres the story…

me. never played a guitar before monday this week…
me, can’t play drums
me, can just about talk never mind sing
my mate, can just about hold a bass guitar without falling over.

put us to in a room with cheap instuments i just bought and a lame recording program.

i play live midi drums, rhythm guitar, lead guitar and make what i can only describe and deep whining noises (singing) my mate plays the bass.

lock us in a room for 4 hours, and we come up with…

ladies and gentleman i am proud to present to you probably the worst cover version you will ever hear… SKYWARD!

i thinkits the song that the most studio versions of exsist as well (3 in my count)

it sounds quite cool, not musically good or anything, but it sounds like you had fun recording it which at the end of teh day is all that counts.

and i admire your balls for posting it on here

I love skyward :) I actually bought babyteeth after infernal love and AT THE TIME, i was not the fan of infernal love as i am now. Just loved the heavyness and the punk of it, although Animal Bones is better. :)

Personally I love Skyward or anything of Babyteeth for that matter… nice to hear a cover that isn’t a song off troublegum.

I have a bass and after a week I was struggling with tunes only a few lines long and I sorta gave up after that and it all went downhill. I wonder if a guitar would’ve been a better option.

I guess I’m not musically inclined.

Anyway I liked that version. Hah your singings better than mine too :P It’s got that kinda rusty, dark feel to it.

Fair play, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be, I even enjoyed it :)
