Need some girl advice, strange I’m asking this again, eh?

Right, I’ve been after this girl for a while, and my mate told her I was interrested. I didn’t admit or deny it at first but I finally admitted that I was interrested in her.
I explained to her that I wanted to tell her in person but she said it would be ‘a bit awkward’.

Bad sign?

I have a question:
why is this girl called a “ho” when she dumped him? I had no idea dumping somebody would automatically mean you were a “ho”.
