I sit in the camp that says OCFA simply wasn’t very good. Regardless of talk of poor production, the album as a whole just wasn’t up to the standard I’ve come to expect. But lets be honest, T? have made a lot of great records and set themselves high standards to be judged upon. Shameless and OCFA are poor. End of

Shameless is underrated, theres a load of great songs on there with that whole Cairns “Raised eyebrow of knowing and sarcasm” lyrical work going on which is fucking great in itself before its even married with music.
OCFA has tonnes of great songs on it - I can’t understand how people can give it so much shit! If anything its good for going against what NANE was and in doing so fucking off the past and doing something different! I also feel (even a s a drummer! :p ) that the production on OCFA is really good and works for the song as a whole, so what that the drums arn’t total pin-point and clear in places - you can still feel them and thats what matters forfucksake!
Can’t wait for the next one! Keep up the good work those T? gents!

how about a more techno soudnig album, sorta heavy rave, neils already playing techno style drum beats, andy cud do vocals similar to rehab, and have quite electronic sounding bass and guitar and maybe even throw in a synth.
but to mix it up a bit throw in afew who-oh punky style hooks, and big ocfa style sing along stadium-esque choruses
i’d love to hear that
then after that id like to hear a straight up riff heavy metal album similar to the recent wildhearts offering/

I agree with Andy Gibson.. if we all say we want whatever then were just detracting from what the lads want to do.
For the next album; I want whatever they make.
Though saying that I feel that songs in the style of Totally Random Man and Auto Surgery would go down nicely.

I´m glad they are announcing that they will make SURE this is the best album they´ve done. To me it seems they´ve hurried too much making the last 3-4 records. Maybe it had something to do with the horrible trouble causing gap between Infernal Love and Semi-Detached? It would be perfectly understandable if it left some fears to the boys…But I really hope they just take it slower this time, let the good ideas come when they come. To me, IMHO, some songs on Shameless, High Anxiety, NANE and OCFA sound either somehow forced or just oh-it´s-good-enough. I hope the boys make this new one a REAL KILLER, we all know they have the potential :) And the balls. And the rock n roll. And for gods sake the music world nowadays needs a Therapy? masterpiece…
