In Extremo

#

Started by Jewel

Yesterday I´ve been to a really cool concert of In Extremo! They played at a medieval festival near my hometown and, WOW, they blasted my brain away! I haven`t seen such a great show for a long time!! They didn`t play the usual rock show, almost no singing, but great music!! Man, I LOVE BAGPIPES from now on!

You’re damn right, In Extremo rules! I already know them for a couple of years, but I’ve only seen them once, a couple of weeks ago at Bospop. Great music, and a truly unique band!

after i did my exam today my day was complete by seeing in extremo again tonight!! they played at a medival festival again and all the money that was made goes to the victims of the flood we had in germany some weeks ago, which is a very good thing in my eyes.
hell, i just can`t get enough of them, esp. since some of the band-members are really nice ( gelle, betty? ich hoffe, leizig geht klar!! micha war sssoooo geil!! hähä!! ;-) ).
good night to everyone!!

… the rockshow of in extremo was absolutely fantastic!!

yesterday i went to see them w/ my best friend again and i simply loved it!
the atmosphere, the music and the fire of course :-)
and the guys of the band are really friendly and very down to earth, which i like.
i´m looking foward to seeing them on 30th of dec. again.
so, i can only recommand the shows, if you guys have the chance to see them, use it, you will not be dissapointed!

They played last week in the city where I live, but I had a heavy exam the next day for which I had to get up at 6 AM. Under any other circumstances I would have gone. They just chose the worst time of the year to play, right in the middle of my exam period!

In Extremo..they’ve got the moves, they’ve got the crunchy guitars, they’ve got cool pointy helmets…but can’t say I was very impressed with them when I saw them. Mind you, they were opening up for GWAR at the time, and anybody who has their stage show following them is up against it…

Bloody too right they do! I just wish their record label ( metal blade ) would actually do stuff to promote them..i.e: LIKE RELEASING THEIR ALBUMS OUTSIDE OF THE US! Their latest album has been out in the US for over a year now, and so far there would appear to be no plans to give it a UK release…

The only reason I know about GWAR is because of the Beavis & Butthead game on the mega drive, and a video I saw on the show. I don’t like what I’ve seen though
