There’s me playing John Terry, Tim Cahill and Leighton Baines since the start of the season, despite the fact that they’re all injured. That’s what I get for going on 2 weeks holiday and not watching virtually any football.
I’ll be back to my superb best following this weekend’s round of fixtures, no worries… following some religious studying of Sky Sports News, of course.

Haha, the league I’m in in work is for money - one guy would’ve won easy but he had to go on honeymoon and wasn’t able to update his team :D
It’s a harsh game!

hahaha top stuff my man. Ya I thought about the whole leather trousers thing but I knew there was no way i could pull off such a look. Got my nose piersed which was a Mackintosh inspiration. Ah that made me smile, nice one.

The only worse fashion mistake was wearing “thrash metal” stretch jeans when I was 15…made my legs look like fucking black sticks.
Anyway, I’d better get this thread back on topic…I read the instructions to the Fantasy football game yesterday so I know what I’m doing and I’m going to beat everyone.

If you double click on the little ‘i’ underneath them you get some details. That’s how I found out that half of my team had broken legs. *eyes Dermot with suspicion*

If the ‘i’ under the player is red then they are fecked for a while eg hamstring injury etc. If the ‘i’ is yellow it means that they are doubtful, this is usually a minor injury so they may be out for a few weeks or just a day. Its best to check your team as close as possible to the gameweek cut off as possible in case one of your players loses a kneecap on game day or something.

A good one for me last week with Bent & Landzaat getting on the scoresheet, plus Ricard Dunne playing a stormer against Utd. Those Reading players are good value as well, though I’ve Jeff Hanneman on the bench now for a few weeks. I’m thinking of dropping Van Der Sar for him, but can’t see Utd slipping up against Spurs, as much as I’d like them to!
Anyways, I’m definately going to win the league, etc etc…

All my players have little yellow i’s… does that mean they are all a bit injured then?
This whole manager thing is rather stressful… i was hoping for quiet life with a huge salary, and use of the cheap players lounge bar.

I’m fucked this week - 5, yes 5, of my players are either injured or suspended. So even after subbing players and making my one allowed transfer, I still only have 10 players available today.
I don’t like this manager lark :(
