Heh heh! Just to clarify, that’s the next gig I want to go to that I don’t have a ticket for… and it doesn’t even exist yet :-D
I’m really excited about seeing Liars on Dec 5th… Dan Deacon the week before should be interesting as well. Is that better? ;-)

Wanted to go To Dolorès O’riordan gig tonight in Paris just to check Graham’s drumming out but seems that the Lady has some pb with her voice …Maybe she shouted too much for the win of The Munster Rugby team (she’s from Limerick) against Clermont-Ferrand last week end :D so she cancelled the rest of her tourdates…
The Black Crusade tourdate in Paris November 29th
The Persistance tourdate in Paris November 30th
High on Fire ( with Pelican )in Paris December 5th

It was ok, but it was lacking something. And now don’t go all “yeah, like good songs”, because I know you don’t like her, but what I mean is that the show was not at all done that professional, and I think it’s because of a lack of funding. dancers were OK, but not good, stage was ok, but not fantastic. I don’t understand how an artist that obviously has made the record company already a lot of money, doesn’t want to invest in a good satge show. Musicians was great though, and rihanna did her best, but singing and dancing is not her strongest point.

How odd… you’d think they’d be throwing money at her at the moment, you know how record companies always like to pander to their big acts that are selling. Maybe they think she is a flash in the pan? Bit worrying if even your record label think that about you though!

exactly, because after that show last night, I’m not prepared to pay to see her again. If the show would have been great, i wouldn’t mind at all. She’s no madonna, and no Robbie Williams, I am aware of that, but still, a few more lights and good dancers wouldn’t hurt. And it was already over after 1 freakin’ hour. She did ” encores after that, but 1 hour!!??
