Anyone ever cut their own hair? I did tonight and I’m chuffed with my own results

and i don’t trust my sister, as she once cut into my t-shirt
and i don’t trust “professionel-hairdresser” as they never did what i wanted
so the result ist, that i’m a hairball :D

but what about that funny thing, called “flowbee” they try to sell at those home-shopping channels? did anyone ever tried that out?
i think that must be a feeling, like holding your running carpenter at your head, sucking out the brain :D …

Is a Flowbee like that device on Wayne’s World? They look bloody scary! I’ve cut my friends hair and they’ve cut mine but I’ve never tried single-handed, it’d be impossible to get the back straight!

Once i had my hair cut by my two sisters. They made me look like a complete idiot. Then i stopped cutting my hair for 3 and a half years.
Now i go to a barber and i am somewhat pleased with the results. But why do they have to have an opinion of their own and never let you do what you want with your hair? Besides all barbers and hairdressers (especially they) have awful and stupid haircuts.

Heh, no photographic proof unfortunately. To be honest all I did was turn some hair curtains into a choppy fringe. It wasn’t like a total redesign or anything. I’d have got my mate to do that :)

I wouldn’t mind just shaving my own hair, you can’t go far wrong when you get a grade. But anything else I wouldn’t dare, anyway I don’t want to shave my hair again

I was round at small gathering at my mates house and had quite long hair so my mates sister offered to cut it. She had good intensions, it was just a shame the feckin sheers were blunt. Man I looked like I’d been to shock therapy :). Never again, since then I have always gone to get it done professionaly.

I tried that once but ended up looking like I had alopecia. I wore a cap for a month. Mabye I should have had a few shots to steady my hands

first thing you do when you get home after being at the hairdressers is.. wash your hair straight away or wet it to pull it down, for they put plenty of stuff on it to make it soft and big and you look like Marie-Antoinette…what the hell! i cut it at home, i can do it a lot better than them! :D
