Just got home, drunk as an animal, ssoon to sleep,hope so, at least Kati hopes:) listening to OCFA and remembering Lithuania, those were the days:) we pass by and we do nothin just strangers here, our white noize——-

@dan: I saw NIN in march and in august on the pukkelpop festival. Saw the screens… amazing. I espescially loved the “only” visuals. It really looked like a snow-television with his head popping in and out.
On an other note, mr Reznor is not that pleased with european promotors (look on youtube for this, it’s quite funny how he throws a tantrum about the promotors) of festivals. Hopefuly he doesn’t feel the same about european concert promotors…

Chris Cornell, Smashing Pumpkins and Franz Ferdinand were also in the bill, but not to mention :)

There’s two for me actually - this afternoon I saw Focus at the Symforce festival in 013, Tilburg. Then on to Rotterdam to see the first show of Símon in Little Cave, Rotterdam. Had a lot of fun in Tilburg (loads of old farts coming to see bands that play music for old farts, and a good excuse to wear my psychedelic Yes tie dye shirt) and once in Rotterdam it was great seeing Donnie (aka Lombok) again (this time on guitar as opposed to DJ).

The night ended with me having a headache, which coincidentally was not caused by loud music or excessive drinking. Luckily the throbbing dull pain is gone, so I’ll crawl into bed asap and catch some sleep.

(Note: I mean old fart in an affectionate way, not in a brains-gone-to-mush, blocking-the-path-in-the-supermarket sort of way.)

I cant even remember the last gig I went to.

Sick Of It All yesterday, excellent show, the sound was a bit too loud though, forgot my earplugs again :( and the lightguy should get fired!!! Half of the time Icouldn’t see anything from stage because the stagelights were shining right in my eyes!!! But nevertheless great show!

Gorilla Biscuits last week were amazing as well!!

Just got back from Tyla D’amore

I walked straight in the venue and he was there by the merch stand

Hes selling shit loads of cds all a fiver each

I actually knew quite alot of the songs he played

After the show i hung out with him for a fair while

He gave me a free tshirt

then i got a lift home in the same car

went to the guys house he was stayin at

fuckin hell hes the soundest guy ever

I cant wait to see him again tommorow

I videod one song a new one called THe Latch or something like that

then my battary died.

I went yesterday to Nightwish’s record release-party at Tavastia, there was supposed to play an estonian Nightwish-cover band called “Natuvissyset” but it turned out they were the real Nightwish! (Ok, I knew that before ;o)) They played an kick ass gig. Their new material, which they played plenty, sounds great and the new lady sings like an engel even though she’s not sounding like Tarja (which I think is only a good thing). It was great to see so many smiling faces in the crowd as well in the stage. If you are in Hamburg area tomorrow, go see a band called “Sushi Patrol” in Delphi Club. You will be surprised… ;o)

The Misfits in Manchester…

Its the only gig I have ever been to where I’ve walked out. We only stayed for about 15 mins of the band - they were fuckin shite.

All the songs were speeded up to the point where you couldn’t tell what the fuck was actually supposed to be being played (I think they played the whole of Attitude in under 40 secs). I can only Imagine that they have done this cause Jerry Only cant sing for shit.

The only way I knew they were playing Hybrid Moments is because they introduced it…

Talk about pissing on your legacy

Tonight I saw The Letdowns, who rocked; Derby’s finest (present company excepted, Neil :)) Fixit Kid; The Blacklisters - very heavy, would have been cooler if the singer’s pants weren’t on display & Kill Manticore who broke everyone. Highlights include Lucy’s vocal for Land Before Time (a tragic recount of the day she bought a certain brand of dinosaur-related activity pack) and Asteroid which is just classic.

I saw some band called Hard Fi… never heard of them, british indie is the only way to descibe… they were okay, the crowd got into it and i was smashed so they were probably worse then my brain leads me to believe. But can’t say no to a gig :)

I really haven’t heard of them… are they big in the UK?

It’s a bit of a blur and if you ever played me a track by them i wouldn’t reconise it. I was just jumping around and trying to not spill my pint… i know there is a song which goes “wooooo…yeahhh…aahhhhh” but that’s about it?
