#

Started by Charlie

Only just started watching this and the Theatre episode was flipping HILARIOUS :D

Tonights Episode was pretty good too…The German Cannibal one.

Plus it had Todd Rivers from Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace in it !!

I’ma little disappointed after the first episode, which i think is the best they’ve done yet. Last nights cannibal one was better than last weeks one though. I’m glad Matt Berrys in it now, he’s one of my fave comedy actors. And obviously it helps that Jen is still really fit.

i really like the series so far. i thought the “jen having to go outside for a cigarette” thing was actually one of the funniest things i’ve seen for ages.

The Theatre episode was like vintage Father Ted - even with the reviews of the play.

” its not as long as some plays ”

haven’t got into the IT Crowd yet. Liked the episodes with Noel form the Boosh, funny stuff. No where near as good as Ted but then not many things are.

I also LOVE the work of Armando Iannucci. - he’s the guy who wrote partridge, as well as some of Chris Morris’ stuff, Friday Night Armistice, Time Trumpet, and the awesome Armando Iannucci show. : cool:

GREAT to see new episodes. I just like anything where actors from The Might Boosh or Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace might turn up in one episode or the other. And yeah, the theatre episode of Season 2 was really funny. I didn’t think the first season was all that crappy, either.

I don’t, I prefer Joy Division songs played at 33 instead of 45 (so they are slower and deeper), in a darkened room with candles (unlit, so the light doesn’t infringe on the blackness) and my head under the covers.

Oh yeah, and Father Ted, Phoenix Nights, Blackadder etc

My brother used to find that Japan (as in the band - David Silvyan or whassisnamewas) sounded better when you played a 33 record on 45. Kind of a bit fast and chipmunk-y but some interesting rhythms!
