Hey. Which therapy? Album did you like immediately and which did you have to listen to a lot before you liked it ?

I obvioulsy loved Troublegum immediately. Infernal love too - although not as much ( then ). Semi Detached took a lot of getting used to. I liked SPYF but now i love it. High Anxiety i LOVED instantly and NANE too.

Infernal Love took some time but its grown to be my favourite.

Pleasure Death is still taking its time though lol. Potato Junkie is class though.

Took some time to like SPYF and Semi-Detatched.

OCFA hit me immediately, SPYF took ages… in fact I still don’t really think I “get it” :(

Hehe thats what it was for me. Nurse didn’t come easy but it’s easily one of my favourites now. I often put it on before bed, or sometimes when I wake up, for Disgracelands, Hypermania.. Yummm!!!

I guess i was lucky that i had an older brother who made me listen to John Peel or I would have missed them when they first came out :)

NANE and Shameless I hated on first hearing.

They are now my two favourites.

Troublegum was quite instant, I think.

Troublegum, Semi-Detached and Infernal Love (to a lesser degree) were instantly addictive.

With SPYF it took me a long time to accept that this was no “Semi-Detached Part 2”, but I love the album now. And I also didn’t realize that NANE was a much better album than I had thought at first.

Here aye! Me too!
I love disgracelands, if I didn’t know the lyrics I probably wouldn’t like it so much. I’ve used it for my AS level art project though! The lyrics are just awesome!

Hey Rob, that sounds cool, how did you use it as inspiration?

For me it was after I read the lyrics of Disgracelands that I was like “oh wow this kicks ass!” so I put Nurse on and listened more carefully than I had before. Same for Skyward.. though I liked Babyteeth and the music of Skyward I only fully appreciated it once I read the lyrics and grabbed the acoustic Live version on CD and I was like .. sweet :D

Troublegum was instant.

The first time I listened to it was immideatly the best listen - straight from the Knives get-go. SPYF and Babyteeth took longer, but got to the overall favorites department within a month.

Although I’m a massive fan, none of the albums hit me immediately (accept Troublegum at a stretch), only on the third or fourth listen have I actually not been annoyed with the songs, but i’ve always grown to love them.

Yeah, the lyrics mate. Sorry for the long time!
I’ve also used the lyrics from Not In Any Name. Great track from High Anxiety.
