What’s problem of passwords? You register once. Type in your username and password once. They’re saved in a cookie, and you can post anytime you want just like you’re doing now.
One major advantage is that if someone posts something with a certain nickname you now who it is. Messiah, you experienced yourself that someone used your name in a post (or at least you said so), and that’s not that great. I really don’t see any disadvantages in the use of passwords. Cheers.

Teethgrinder, you have to remember that Messiah is the kind of guy that has to have L and R written on his feet so he knows which shoe goes on which foot. Passwords are difficult for him.

i’ll tell you why passwords arnt a good idea.
you see many people just come along and post every now and then and if the like it they stay if not they leave. escpecially new comers.
now if that very same people came here and saw that you had to get a password to post , they wont bother as they wont know if they’d be staying here or not.
so what you would be doing is reducing the number of people who come here. leave it as an open forum and keep this flow of people coming and going- not only does it keep the forum interesting but also prevents it from dying.
This is probably the best therapy? board around- dont kill it. Think about it.

This is the only T? board around, to the best of my knowledge. If requiring passwords keeps a few people who would only post ‘You suck’ on occasion then I wouldn’t care much. Rene, it’s your site, do with it as you please. Hell, you can link the ‘submit’ button to our credit cards and charge $1 every time we post for all I care.

Messiah yet again your theory is flawed. If the newcomers saw that there was a password required and they left it would most likely mean that they werent really t? fans.
passwords will filter out all the people who are just here to be wankers

Che, give me your e-mail unless you’re a pretentious dickhead desperate for some long needed attention. My e-mail is scifo@webtv.net, so respond decently, or in your natural sarcastic manner. No one else need apply unless news of Therapy? is the topic.
