Which games? Irish ones or french ones? You mean french people are scared for the game of friday? Bah,all the rugby experts know that the Irish team will be on top form against France (later as possible I hope :D ) and Argentina (I really wish for that ;) ) ,we’ll just have to play seriously and not to make mistakes,But a pity this game won’t be played at Marseille, where the ambience is terrible and hostile for the opponents ,just ask the English who came there for a friendly game last August…Good news are that this old cunt of Fabien Pelous is out,Christophe Dominici seems to be relegated in the stands or for the best the bench :cries: (Love you Christophe but Vincent Clerc and Cédric Heymans run faster than you now …)…Oh Bernard Laporte has just taken aware of getting the muzzle of “Caveman” “Hannibal” Chabal’s mouth for Friday :D .

Agreed with everything Lenny, Ireland are simply poor.
No harm intended here, but on Munsterfans.com I read this comment on a thread regarding Isaac Boss being in the line up and Peter Slinger not…
“Stringer should be on bench ahead of the dirty mullett boss though.”
Now, following Slinger’s last two performances, should he be in France at all?!
I know people will comment saying Boss has been poor, but the times he has played, he hasn’t been on the pitch for long enough to make an impact!!
The whole pack needs to be changed. No exceptions at all.
And Robot O’Gara could do with sitting out a game, has he found touch at all this tournament?
He played well in the 6 Nations, but is poor right now!

Portugal-Italy was a pleasant game.Good on the Portuguese team for resisting as well against Italy, only lost 5-31 and most of the “Wolves”(name given to the portuguese players) are amateur players.the Italian had a very poor game and didn’t get the Winning point ( for 4 tries scored)…They had a load of oppotunities to do it on “Penalty lineouts” (or whatever you call them in english)but they chose to kick the ball between the posts, with success, hopefully…Loads of worries for them before facing Scotland…

Fingers crossed. I agree with stringer being completely dropped - he hasn’t played well recently. Perhaps Murphy could come in at out half and take the pressure off ROG? Hopefully they’ll pull something out of the bag

I hope the anger that the Irish Players and management now have towards the French media translates on to the pitch - we are in desperate need of some ass kicking celtic passion if we are to stand a chance against France.
They will come out all guns blazing, if we can hold them you will see the French supporters turn against them after about 30 minutes and then it is any mans game.
My hope is that we go out all guns blazing. Containing Chabal (sorry, not sure how to spell his name correctly and can’t be arsed googling) will be key - so much of the French belief lies on that mans shoulders.
Like Colin, by heart says Ireland, my head says France

it was a good game between France and Ireland.I had never seen the Irish team playing in this world cup yet,and it was obvious that they didn’t play at their best level like they usually do…I hope they will wake up against Argentina, that will arrange France for avoiding a quarter-final against the All Blacks at Cardiff :P.
The Argies have a good scrummaging (la “Bajadita”) .Marcus Horan and John Hayes will surely suffer against Omar Hasan and Rodrigo Roncero.the Irish back row should constanly put pressure on “El mago” (the magician” )Juan Martin Hernandez cos’ when he got the ball on his hand and some free spaces in front him,you can say “C ya after the touchdown line” and his footkicking is far better than O’ Gara’s one…And if any fellow irish player can put in his pocket some sticky tape in order to gag Augustin Pichot’s mouth (always talks to the referree, trash talking towards his opponents…),the most annoying scrumhalf in the world IMHO,that would ne nice :D.
Those who thought that People in France had understimated Ireland before playing that game, can put their fingers in their eyes.Maybe I missed something and except this sports’ Newspaper talking about ROG’s games’ debts, but nobody said that it would be easy to win against the Irish,on the contrary…

A great night is that starts out quite bet ends up being a right laugh. Went out with friends to watch the match, wasn’t drinking as i was feelin tender from the night before. Then decided to get a G&T, no laughing down the back and before you ask i’m not a 64 year old grandmother, i just enjoy the smooth smooth taste. A bloke collecting glasses spilt my drink and to say sorry he ended up buying me 3 G&T’s to, result. It went on from there, stopped off for a bacon cheese chip on the way home and while passing the shitty night club we noticed a new fire exit that wasn’t locked properly, again result, 10 euro saved, got one over on rip off night club and got to drunkly stare at ladies boobs. Went home around one to find my bro’s friend attempting to drive home while being quite drunk. Took the piss out of him with a friend for half an hour until his taxi arrived. Went to bed, smoked a J and went to sleep, woke up with hardly any hang over. Could have doen with a quick riggle with a lady but hey you can’t have it all.
I’d give it a 7.5 overall. Off to see Tommy Tiernan tonight, good times.
Anyway, back to the rugby…

I disagree with the statment “English forwards’pack was too strong for them”. The only part where they were stronger was in the scrums. Everywhere else the tongans (the forewards) where walking over them. The backs were the problem, and the kicking. (In my opinion xd). And was it just me or was england playing scavenger rugby (i.e. like scotland up until a couple of years ago, not playing great, but really making use of opponents mistakes)?
Anywhy, Scotland-Italy today…hum…will we get through???

guess we don’t see this game in the same way…Yeah it was true that during the first 30-40 minutes I saw the English team getting annoyed by the Tonga but afterwards their pack moved forward on their mauls and Tongan players who suffured when trying to stop them, began to dominate really on the basics (scrums, lines out, rucks, defence ..) and developped their game on the pitch,by the way,it’s has always been the english characteristic way of playing…But don’t get me wrong,I don’t stand for the English for this RWC and have you ever seen a french dude doing this ? :D
For Scotland-Italy…if the Scots play as they’ve been usually doing since the begining of the rwc, except when they met the All Blacks last week (the B-team played that day).and if the Italian are too much indisciplined and got easily nervous, like most “latin” people, there may be a win for Scotland ;) .I can notice the same thing for the Argies, other “latin” people ,against Ireland this sunday, they are usually considered as “undisciplined” players…let’s hope for them that the ref,Paddy O’ brien( a new zelander with Irish origins???),won’t be too much pernickety…

Well, I felt sorry for the Irish, they tried their best to qualify (but what a poor ROG…),they scored 2 tries to a team which hadn’t seen its touchdown line invaded…The Argies played on their stongest points I noticed on a previous post, and of course Augustin Pichot kept on talking to the ref all the game long :D …So good luck for Scotland, who gonna face them for the next turn…I’m still wondering if the Irish squad was well prepared physically (The Cryptogeny or so,is it good?) .
And what a “connerie” to make play the game for the country who organizes the RWC its quarter out of France  There are 1 quarter planned at Paris-st denis, another at Cardiff and 2 ones at Marseille, why couldn’t france coulnd’t play one there ,at “Le Vélodrome” stadium?…I knew that the french fed, which organized the event, were lead by incompetent cunts but I didn’t think they had reached a ridiculous level.
Oh btw,how nice is this town of Cardiff?

I really feel let down. This Irish squad has so much talent and the potential to perform and at least compete against the big nations. I can’t understand why they have failed so badly - no-one associated with the squad can come back with their head held high. Its time to blood a lot of new players and to stop playing half reserve teams in the Celtic league - the players obviously need regular top wuality games not 6 to 10 european matches and about the same number of meaningful league games each season.

Oh It will be a big surprise.you know Fidji are almost The Champions of Rugby World’s tournament played at…7 :D .They have a so amazing offensive game especially when they start their attacks from their 22…The Only solution for them is to make the game as crazy as the one they played at Nantes against the Welsh last week. But it will difficult…South Africa is a tough side, with a game based on a constant physical defy,an excellent backlines’ game,a good forwards’pack ,who will surely make suffer the Fiji on the basics (Rucks, Scrums, line out…)cos’that’s not the kind of things they really like in Rugby playing…
About Scotland-Argentina…I can’t predict anything…Some argie players usually play in my rugby club in France during the regular seasons so my heart would surely say Argentina and I own an argie rugby shirt .But I’m impatient to see how Simon Taylor will play cos’ he’s also to come in my Rugby french club next season…
