i had a dream last night that id had a heart attack and jim fenner ( the nasty guy out of bad girls ) revived me. now thats random.

AS-no i wasnt watching it before i went to bed, i stopped watching after the first series when i realised it was shit. :D

although its good to know that mr fennor isnt all bad :)

Last night I dreamt I gave birth to triplets but they were all dead, really tiny and premature about the size of mice. I needed to bury them but there weren’t any coffins small enough so I made some out of pastry cases.

I know. I’m not proud…

Sorry. it gets worse - this morning I thought I had woken up, and my other half was sitting on the edge of the bed looking perfectly normal, but then he said “The cat caught these” and started putting dead mice in my hands, one after another, loads of them so I had to cup my hands to hold them. He kept handing me more and more and they were spilling out of my hands when I realised that one of them was still alive. I wanted to seperate it and see if I could save it, but all the congealed blood was sticking them all together and drying really fast. I wondered why they were still bleeding when almost all of them were dead, and then I realised the blood was actually coming out of my own hands :S

…no hope, no harm, just another false alarm…

I suppose it’s that or letting you sleep in all day because it doesn’t bleep.

Last night I dreamt there was this hideous sort of shiny leather moth thing with a cat’s face crawling about on the landing wall. I freaked out a bit because I don’t like moths at all and this was about 18 inches long, but then it got on the floor and started playing a stylophone with its teeth! :) Bless.

The night before I dreamt that I had sole responsibility for rehabilitating Peter Sutcliffe back into society. That was a bit weird.

@ Gimme - I had the weirdest dream about you last night. You had been at my house and you were moaning about having to walk home because it was “miles away”, so I walked you there and it was only a couple of bus stops away. A bus turned up and your mum was driving it, but she wouldn’t let me on because I wouldn’t put my fag out.

Not an awesome dream, but a very fascinating experience.

every now and then i feel like im spinning, and my dreams are surrel as fuck, then i wake up but im unable to move any of my body apart from opening my mouth a very little bit, then I hear a swooshing noise and i can move again.

(thats actually not a dream but what happens to me every now and then)

I’ve been on prescription nicotine patches (the 24 hour ones) for the last 6 weeks – anyone ever used them?

The main side effect is that they give you particularly intense or vivid dreams – even nightmares. There hasn’t been a night in the last month and a half where I haven’t had an amazing dream or a freaky nightmare :-/

@ Dermot - I’ve been there too - crazy dreams, just like when you are pregnant.

I had to stop using the patches though, they made my joints really painful. The doctor practically called me a liar, but it was true :(

Same here. My sister suffered more though - she had it every night for about 6 months, and she was so terrified of sleeping she was exhausted all the time.

The first time it happened to me it was as though I had woken up but someone was kneeling over me, forcing the quilt over my face and I was suffocating. I could feel it and feel the weight of it and everything - just as though it were real. Then suddenly I could breathe and I was lying on my back but with my arms on top of the quilt, still paralysed and thinking I was crazy or that there really were such things as evil ghosts! I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared in my life!

I don’t know if it will help you any, but once I had researched it a bit and was a bit more clued up about what was happening I was able to act on it a bit. Just trying to relax and talking my mind slowly through it whilst it was happening really helped a lot. I got so I was able to just tell myself it was a hallucination and relax. Even though I was still paralysed and hallucinating it stopped being scary. If you panic it just seems to last forever!

When it happens these days (hardly ever) it’s only ever crazy lights and patterns filling up the room. It might even be quite pleasant if it wasn’t for the paralysis and sound effects. The noise I tend to hear is like someone setting off a firework next to my ear.

Anyhow, you have my utmost sympathy. If it’s any consolation you will probably grow out of it :)
