I tried to pay £3 but they kept rejecting my card, saying my bank wouldn’t authorise it - so I ended up just paying nothing :o

Can’t wait to hear it when I get in :)

The dude on the BBC website was quite scathing about the Radiohead album, actually. Said it was more of the same, as if they’re stuck in a rut, and that bypassing the record companies was all well and good for established bands but that it actually threatens the future of new bands, if money for investment isn’t there.

Hmmm, could be quite a contentious issue, this “pay whatever you like” thing.

I’m not a massive fan or anything but am always interested in what they’re doing. Them and Morrissey would probably be the 2 acts I’ve never seen live that I would really like to.

I loved the Bends…every time John Peel ( RIP ) played a song off it - i knew I had to have it. Then OK Computer came out, and that was a real let down at the time, it came out the same year as Be Here Now, and for my money, I was 18 at the time, it was summer and I wanted to listen to upbeat rock and roll rather than miserable difficult music. Of course, 10 years later i’m not huge on either of those albums. Kid A was alright as a one off - had some nice tunes and was interesting…but then Amnesiac was more of the same - but worse !!! Hail to the thief was supposed to be Ok Computer part 2 according to the band themselves but still contained annoying noise tracks with crap lyrics and vocals…4 years later - they bring this…No Wonder They Let You Download It For Free ! :D
