don’t much about their earlier stuff : Primitive Origins (1987) and Force Fed (1988) ,but I listen from time to time to “beg to differ”, and IMHO,I find it good, but my fav’ ones are “Cleansing” and “Rude Awakening”,don’t know if it’s because of Paul Raven’s ( Killing Joke,Ministry,…) thick sound bass which brings some “groove” on them.I can’t tell about “Scorpio rising”,cos’ I haven’t the time yet to listen to it seriously. But their Live Album “100% ” or so is great.

The only ones i’ve ever listened to are Cleansing and Rude Awakening. Cleansing’s “Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck” is a classic. Rude Awakening is almost a concept album— better taken in all at once.

I only have Cleansing, but I really like it. But (and this will permanently ruin the album for anyone who likes it), the vocals occasionally sound like Justin Lee Collins… :( And when you get that in your head, it don’t never go away! ;-(

I’ve no idea who Justin Lee Collins is, would it still spoil my enjoyment of the album?

The only album I’ve got of their’s is Beg To Differ, which is good, but nothing on a track like Snap Your Fingers…which is a classic. Remember moshing to it years ago in a club.

@Darryl :don’t know much about JLC since he’s not a big deal here in France ,just found that vid :

I also didn’t get any similarities with Tommy Victor’s vocal lines…

Poor Tommy :( ,he would have been more flattered to see his singing to be compared to Jaz Coleman’s one :D

Luckily JLC isn’t a big deal over here, either, but he still turns up every now and again, when you don’t expect it. ;)
