Will have to get the Hives album , to be honest I had no idea they were even releasing an album until a few weeks ago. They seemed to vanish for quite awhile.

Clutch w/o vocals- newly released disc. straight up instrumental rock with a jazzy twist I’d say. Pretty killer but the organ/keys get old.

Shire horses!! ahhh blast from the past mate!! My favourite is ‘Now we know where we’re going to (our kid)’ which was a skit of the old Seahorses song..i just like the way they reference places in the UK..’Budleigh Salterton?? thats nowhere bloody near Inverness’ and the eloquent rhyming of ‘we’re on the A47 and we’re fast approaching Devon (shall we stop off for a jar?) ’

hehe happy times…

Oh and Hooch i still have some QUICHE in my fridge if you want some :-P (it was for staff only so couldn’t very well give it out in the middle of interval but if you’d waited…!)

Seah Hughes would not go home either- he was in my bar until about midnight and we were all reminiscing about past gigs we’d seen of him…

Am currently listening to the Dandy Warhols (heroin is so passe!) and The Used…trying to offest having to sit through ‘Iron and Wine’ - alt folk rock at the bloody theatre tonight!!! Aghhhhhh |- I

Hello dear

I felt mean leaving Gez to wait so I went back to give her her ice-cream and beer, with a view to coming back for quiche but then Sean Hughes came back on and I didn’t want to get spotted leaving :o Post me a slice ;)

Very jealous you got to hang out with him, I would have kept him amused for you :p

I really like Iron and Wine. I think ‘The Devil Tree’ is an amazing song (I had it as my ring tone for a bit (but it meant i missed all my calls because I always wanted to get past the intro). Anyway I will do something very terrible with your quiche if you say it’s not so

He’s a nice bloke! he just sort of took up residence in the corner..his tour manager is from Leeds so all his family were there and we all just sort of sat for a bit and chatted…

We were reminiscing about the time back in about 1997 when we saw him at the Newcastle Gulbenkian theatre (and he remembers this…) a lass from the front row went to wrong way to the loos during the show (she actually went out a fire exit by accident onto the street and only found her way back in for 2nd half!) and in revenge for getting up and going he jumped off the stage, rifled through her pockets and got her purse out and proceeded to go through the entire contents of her purse laying every item out carefully on the front of the stage - he kept her work swipe card though to see if she’d notice it was missing!!! Her friends thought it was hilarious and you should have seen her face when she wandered back in during the interval and gradually noticed the entire contents of her purse neatly laid out on the stage!!! it was v funny and he came back on with 2 bottles of beer for her to say sorry in the second half!! he just completely abandoned his act and for about 15 mins just went through all her switch receipts and purchases it was very funny!!

And do you remember Elvis the Spider from Sean’s Show (which apparently is available on DVD now..?)

You see - if you get to be a Vol you might get to meet famous people!! :-D

New Foo Fighters - Its kinda boring - infact, there are a few good moments but they are very thinly spread.

It seems like they dont know what kind of band they want to be anymore.
