Come on - Chucks not that bad - the tunes are still there at least!
This morning I’ve listened to Stone Sour - Come Whatever May, which is better than I first thought and Underoath - Define The Great Line.
Gonna stick a bit of International Noise Conspiracy on now for a bit methinks!

I do like songs off the first two albums… but chuck really couldn’t sing, but he was a nutter as a front man… so did make up for it in that aspect.
I have just heard the new serj tankian album… its not too bad.

Hanoi Rocks-Street poetry
grabbed the Jap version of this with two bonus tracks: Hanoi version of the Problems classic “Ei tää lama päähän käy”, now in english, “Worldshaker”, is topclass.
Best Hanoi album since “Two steps from the move”!
It was nice to hear that they support MH here in Finland on all the three shows in December.

Yeah I’d agree with it being the best since Two Steps , which is arguably the best imo so Street Poetry is up there as probably the 2nd best album.
How much did you pay for the Jap version ? Anywhere cheap on the net ?
Listening to ,
QOTSA - Era Vulgaris
Monster Magnet - 4 Way Diablo

Iron and Whine…
Unfortunately i didn’t get to swipe anything - i didn’t even see the outside of the bar last night such was the awfulness of the support act (which meant we had a constant stream of peoples from about 7 onwards wanting beer! how dare they want to buy stuff off me - i’m only there to watch the show!). After i’d waded through the hordes of people wanting to get in and see him off the street (sold out but there were people trying to bribe the Box Office staff for a place at the back!!) i did manage to catch some of the show - he’s very beardy isn’t he..and he was definitely going for the Guiness book of records with ‘how many instruments and/or musicians can we fit on one piddly stage’ record…it was amazing..the glockenspiel person was virtually sat on top of the bongo-ist at the back of the stage and i lost count of guitarists…it was quite groovy though - not quite my cuppa but still not bad :-D

Check out this site:
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/
It costed 2400 yen and I ordered the latest Motörhead live 2cd at the same time. They costed together about 38€ to Finland with p&p.
I´ve seen it on eBay too but it costed more from there using “buy it now”.

That left side bleeding song is just such a solid song…love it… i’m really enjoying the new album, a real straight ahead rock album with some cool acoustic songs thrown in. If you like this then if you can ever get hold of some Unida then do, it’s Johns band after Kyuss just amazing stuff IMO.

Last night I listened to The Bends - Radiohead. Probably the first time in about 5 years that I have listened to it. Very much enjoyed it too.
Also: Queen - Sheer Heart Attack (one of those albums that tries to confuse you by the title track actually being on ANOTHER album, see also: Houses of the Holy)

A Tool mix.
They were plugging on XM this morning that Maynard James Keenan was “formerly” of Tool and A Perfect Circle, and has a new band, with a new album out. I missed the name though.
Anyone hear about this?
